California is a f*ked up state, I know I live there. We have a group here in California called MECHA, its window dressing tries to portray itself as a group that exists to help Chicanos up the economic ladder. This group exists on most college campuses and some high schools and does get state and federal money. The problem with this group is that in reality it is no different than the clan, search their web sites (the ones they link to from the university sites) and see what they have to say. They hate Jews, White people, Black people, Spanish people (which they are actually descendants from but will not admit), basically they hate everyone except themselves. The group wants to remove all non-chicano people from the American southwest and have their own little land called Aztlan. Their slogan is ‘everything for the race, nothing for those outside the race’.
I know every racial group has its racist scum, and I realize the world is imperfect and jerks like this are always going to exist. I have two problems with these people. First, why are my tax dollars and school fees going to support their little hate clubs. Could you image if a white group had these same ideas and wanted to form clubs throughout the UC and K-12 education system. People would be outraged righteously so. And second, why is their behavior not challenged by the press. Bustamante, the democrat running for gov. in California belongs to this group, (if you remember he is the same guy that used the word n*gger and a black history celebration). The press is silent, they attacked Arnold because his dad was a nazi cop, but Bustamante belongs to a group that longs for a racially pure Aztec government to rule of the American Southwest and they say nothing.
Insanity, I love California but it will make you sick sometimes.

If unemployment is under 8% Bush will win in a landslide. If unemployemnt is as high as 10% Bush still could possibly win, depending on the Democrat running. The only real Democratic threat to Bush is Liebermen (sp?), he is a moderate, and has foriegn policy credibility; plus people might vote for him just to piss off the islamonazis, and jew-hating euros. Unfortunatly I dont think the democratic party is capable of nominating him. If the dems nominate dean it will look like the 1988 election, and the democratic parties rush towards irrealivance will be accelerated.

I am for civil unions and I cant see the problem with allowing it. I think some of the inflated against gay union numbers can be attributed to stupid actions of the gay community. Like sueing the boy scouts and other actions that seem to indicate a group that demands not tolerance but acceptance. not the same thing.

In a tight job market employers can pick and choose their work force. You need something that will set you apart from the rest. I think you should showcase your musical talent and sing them a little song. Maybe something by eazy e, like 'I'm a ni&&er from compton' for example; make sure your song selections contains lots of references to 'bit*hes and ho#s'. The panel would just love that to bits. Of course if you are black dont try this as it would simply scare the living crap out of them.

Honestly, if you are currently doing the job just explain to them how you are currently successfully doing it. Hiring people is a risk, you are never quite sure what you will get. If you can show that you have been succesfully completing the job just make sure they are aware of this fact and you should do fine. The will not want to risk hiring someone else that might not work out.

Actually:
- Freedom of speech in print would be absolute, freedom to yell like a lunatic would not
- Payroll taxes would be greatly reduced, so would government spending
- Welfare spending would be reduced, funding for welfare to work programs would be increased
- Many vices would be legalized and taxed like crazy (drugs prostitution) these things would be limited to a certian location in the city. Like my house for example
- Education would be funded equally per child and not funded by the areas property tax (rich areas better education poor weaker)
- Sane law abiding citizens could buy guns without delay. They would also be responsible for what is done with them.
- No government health care; it does not work. Tax credits equaling 80% of cost for any private company that provides healthcare to their employees. This would get more americans health care but would live the private sector looking for ways the get better service at less cost
- Affirmative action would be over penalites for discriminatory hiring practices would be increased
- The price of college tuition would be based on your ability to pay
- Almost all government functions would be privitized (Post office, education etc etc)
- No foreign aid
- After our current crop of wars all American troops come home from everywhere, let the world deal with its own problems, no nato no un
- Imigration would be based on our economic need and for no other reason. If we need workers to support our economy let people in, if not dont
- Imigration from countries that seem to want us all dead would stop
- The ten commandments would be removed from courthouses, Santa Claus would not be
- Only allow products into America from countries that maintain fair labor practices. yes, i know this will reduce our standard of living but I dont like seeing 10 year old girls chained to sowing machines in bangladesh
- Have an extremly strong millitary, because the rest of the world in composed of nuts
