  a congregation of 110+ publishers will be contributing only $200 a month to the society in the new kingdom hall construction arrangement.

  C'mon Kneehigh, how much were they donating before to the KH fund? $50? $100?

  So they just doubled, or more what they are taking in. While $200 isn't much, its probably more than the KH was doing before. BTW, I managed to extract the amount my wife's KH will be donating....$875 a MONTH! This from a just above middle class neighborhood in middle America....

  Now I haven't been to a Serve-us meeting in almost six years, but they were lucky to get $200 a month back then, and usually is was more like $100.

  The cult isn't dead, just morphing from a publishing company to a real estate investment trust with zero taxation.

  Now this is just plain weird.

  So to "assist others to reach out" they cut the knees of the old dude who has been serving?

  I wonder if they have been having problems with crazy old men (dementia, alzheimers?) causing problems for the BOE?

  Or maybe the children of some of these old guys are complaining that the WTS is running them ragged in their old age?

  does anyone have the article written by the wt saying that the end would come in 1975?.

  how did people back then come to this year?

  i need this information becuase i was told, this was never literally written by the wt in any publication.. thanks.

  not really, it could anyone of those guys who shows a sign of humaness/compassion and regret and go on exposing them all to the media worse than ray franz ever could have.

  yes i know this may be wishful thinking/computing on my part but i feel it is a harmless indugence or may be it is just my deep unconscious foretelling a likely scenerio.. and it is good to create a distrust among these guys each one trying to beat the other to jump ship because thier unconscious is giving them fits to get the hell out when the getting is good.

  maybe even report their fellow gbs to the authorities to be granted clemency or something.

  The problem for any of these guys is whether they will have any way to support themselves if they stop sucking off of mothers teat...

  I guess they could write a book, like Ray did, but how much would they really make off of that.

  Unless they have rich family that will take them in, they would be stuck in the poor house, not a welcome prospect once you are used to living the high life as a cult leader.

  Nice of them to allow the poor sap who has been stressed to the max to 'retire' at 80..

  I'm sure they will still let him sit on JCs and send him out for public talks though...

  Its the scripture in Proverbs about the path of the righteous one is like a lamp that gets brighter.

  Of course a careful reading indicates it would apply to a person searching for righteousness, not a God appointed organization that has to flip flop on prophecies they have made because they were completely wrong.
