The last few DCs and CA's I went to had these weird symposiums where each dude only got like 10 minutes to talk, and there were like six, seven, eight parts!
Felt like they were trying to speed it up somehow, but it still lasted an eternity.

Assembly this weekend, but also the Rapture...

if it really does happen, how embarrassed will the attendees be when they walk outside and find out that everyone else is gone, but they got left behind (and had to listen to a really boring talk on being encouraged to pioneer while all the excitement was going on outside?).

Leave your shoes, and some clothes that you normally wear in your front yard on Saturday (not sure about your underwear, I think God would want you to at least have those on when you get to the pearly gates). For effect, put a couple of pieces of dry ice in your shoes. They will let off steam slowly, and the JWs will think you were raptured.
Then you can follow through on your fade.

Friday and Saturday afternoons at the DC were always the worst two afternoons of my year.
Usually 3 1/2 hours of brutally dry material, looks like three on Friday and 3 1/2 on Saturday this year. My butt is getting sore just thinking about it.

Terry and Wannabe, I understand that it isn't the actual distribution of mags that leads to conversions. The main point I'm making is that it is a Publishing house, or publishing cult if you prefer.
Its just the obsession with numbers I have, probably instilled from years of WT conditioning. It is just interesing if you run the numbers against them, instead of in favor of them like they do.

I missed this fact for years, that I was the CUSTOMER. I think the honor system format makes people think they aren't paying for the magazines. I wouldn't drop in money for weeks on end, but then I would feel guilty after a few months and drop in $50 or $100. Some WT customers pay everytime they get their magazines, others do like I used to.
Its a good scam they have running.
