  i have not posted in a very long time, but here is a link i thought might be of interest.

  i've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.

  i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.

  you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".

  To understand John 10:16 you must understand the context of that verse.

  CONTEXT IS:

  1st LEVEL: 10th Chapter of John

  2nd LEVEL: Complete Gospel of John

  3rd LEVEL: Complete "Christians Greek Scriptures" or "New Testament"

  4th LEVEL: Complete Bible

  I am still on 2nd level.

  That's my doubt, Isaac. I thoroughly studied John's gospel, and cannot find any argument for my "official belief".

  I would really like to discuss that with some active, faithful Jehovah's Witness.

  Yes, that's why I am here. Only because of John 10:16. And nothing else.

  I don't believe Ray Franz.

  I don't believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are/were affiliated with UN.

  I don't believe that our so-called "leaders" cover-up pedophiles and pedophile scandals.

  I believe that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE.

  I don't believe that New World Translation is biased.

  I appreciate our brothers, like Russell, Rutherford, Uncle Franz, GB members, old sister in Cleveland congregation, and you also.

  Other posters "stoned" me for those statements before, but I never denied that. I sign ti again.

  Doug!

  I have two versions of "Truth" book. In one, the arrow above the Bible says "within one generation", but in second it says "within one period of time".

  First is from 1968, and second from 1982.

  Is that in English edition too?
