like i said, i only wish more ex-jws read beyond this self published and woe-is-me memoirs of being jws. i am the first one to do this and get the traditional publishing industry as well as literary scene interested.

yeah, broken promises, you didn't look too closely at my previous postings. i contribute to this board. read other people's posts and geniunely care about adding to discussions and giving hugs when possible. i post my real name and link b/c i don't have to hide anything anymore. and i don't have to hide behind a moniker to be an a$$. i take full responsibility if a post comes off like an a$$ b/c people know exactly who i am, where they can find me.
so many aggressive replies from you is sillier than "blatant advertising". one post with an actual concern that this could have been blatant advert, was enough. i guess, thanks for bumping it.
hiding real identities on this board is understandable b/c of family situations. hiding to say things you would never say to my face is weak.
i encourage people to get it from their local library if they can't afford it. that's free reading and i receive no compensation from that and the libraries are supported, so everyone can do that if they like.
the book has done well, but for some reason ex-jws are a minority audience. probably because too many ex-jw books are woe is me memoirs. that might be the case. and since it's published in a traditional way with an actual publisher, i don't have the rights to send out free e-books, i sold those rights last year.
and, i find there's a handful of ex-jws who are sadder than jws, same righteousness, still misplaced.
now, if this originally a post for a janitorial service, that would be blatant. my next book comes out soon, and since it's not jw related, it won't be brought up here.

If you're hoping for a Jane Austen JW romance novel, then please do not read. It's a face paced story that every JW relates to and gives to their "worldly friends" so they'll understand what it's like to be a JW without being preached to.
If you can't afford it, your local library should have a copy as most libraries in North America purchased copies.

great idea. i'd also include copies of coverage from media outlets in the handouts...that's what's great about this issue, the media is finally giving it some attention, so now it just won't be another kooky religion thing.

the co is at my husbands hall this week so i tied in to the meeting he was going on and on about how there are 140 elders in the circuit and only 80 something ms's.
of the elders 25 are over 75 years old.
of the ms's it was about 20 are over 75 years old.

i actually had a dream my ex-wife told me this was happening and they were actually called princesses of (can't remember). if that comes true, i'm going to psychic school.

this topic is so important to keep discussing and bringing to the public, as well as trying to reach out to jw teens in the hopes that they look to boards like this.
i've had a few close friends kill themselves while growing up in the jws, and i had major suicidal thoughts through most of my teens and early 20s while in the jws.
years later they still ripple through.
