in that article (awake!

july 2010), the tetragrammaton (yhwh) is drawn in the triangle.. but when looking carefully, a part of those hebrew is different.. .

i just stumbled over the october issue of our kingdom ministry in norwegian.. the service report numbers are no longer printed.

why not?

and do they still print the numbers in your language?.

Joining other Organizations

have recently tried a community organization and it seems to be the same drama as watchtower --- a hierarchy and power plays, omigoodness!

nancy drew mentioned staying away from these (smart idea) but thinking they're community driven (this one i've joined is barely hanging on because of aging membership and involves a lot of work, meetings) but people join to meet friends, to be social, bla bla.

they do donate to a charity or two (very little w/limited funds) but not much, and feel it's not worth all the work/effort involved if they can't help the community which is suffering.

i hope randy and lady lee don't mind me posting this again but it is very interesting and worth watching.

the youtube video entitled "egomania" gave some good insights into what makes these monsters that start cults tick.
