Step 2 - Somebody get down there with a piano and lead a chorus of "Imagine"
Step 3 - Candlelight vigil in Trafalgar Square next week
Did I miss anything else we need to do?
3 male passengers then get out and start stabbing / shooting people according to early reports.. but it could have been anyone for any reason, who knows, possibly jehovahs witnesses or amish.. maybe we'll never know the reason but i'm sure there will be people praying for those involved and hashtags.. thus solving the problem once and for all.. just "life in a big city" according to the muslim mayor of london, sadiq khan..

great discussion, well worth watching.
covers racism, the bubble that some people live in vs the reality that resulted in trumps election and more (and jws get a mention too).. the rubin report (and many of the guests he has on) repeatedly knock it out of the park with sensible, calm and important analysis and commentary on important issues to our society.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-feapcgxnyy.
londo111 » each congregation has a “talk coordinator”.
talk coordinators will coordinate with other talk coordinators in order to find speakers to give the public talk on sunday.
typically, they come from the general area: the circuit or a nearby circuit.
Yeah, a lot different! We don't have any of these weird controls the JWs have
I watched a documentary about mormon missionaries in the UK. It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. You are a controlling, dehumanising cult every bit as much as the WT.

I'm astounded...and I didn't think that was possible
Let's review - The JWs are a cult, just like the Mormons but different.

You would be told to desist. There would be a local needs talk. If you did not comply you would be DFd for causing division or any one a few possible offenses.
muslims in mosul have helped rebuild a christian church that had been destroyed by isis.. iraq has one of the smallest, but oldest, christian communities in the world but isis oversaw the destruction of iraqi churches, books and christian spaces during their occupation of the city..... it's heartening to see both the military defeat of isis in mosul and the desire for normal relationships shown by the inter-faith community.. there is hope..
Is it for us to say who is a real Muslim? Surely that cuts both ways.
Murdering children can be justified by the quran and hadith but if other Muslims read those edicts as belonging to an earlier time just as Christians interpret the old testament then more power to them.
I am not confident that Islam can reform but it's good to see glimmers of hope.
Notice that this cooperation was only possible as a result of successful military action. Sometimes you do have to fight for peace.

I've been following this situation over the past few days. Utter madness!
The black students are abusive, ill-mannered, disrespectful racists. The head of the college is weak and pathetic.
I have a fascinating book about life in China under Mao Tse Tung. There are chilling similarities. The left is eating itself.
there was a letter read this week, followed by a talk about all the changes that are coming in the next couple of months regarding merging congregations in the area (va/md/dc) - the letter said that the kh's in the area are only being filled to 48% capacity.
this was music to my ears as i have noticed the decline in attendance in all the neighboring congregations.
they will sell some kingdom halls and merge some congregations.
Wondrous expansion is now taking place...
I asked a JW why there was little or no growth. He said it was a sign the end was so close. I said "that's strange, when I was a pioneer it was rapid increase that was a sign the end was so close".
i wasn't entirely sure what to expect when i made the decision to tell my parents how i really feel, but i was prepared for the worst, fortunately, it didn't come to that.
after i told them i didn't want to go to the meetings anymore it led to a long talk with them.
they made a number of irksome and woefully uninformed statements but at least they were not aggressive and have said that they won't force me to move out over this, though, i can tell they are hoping they can convince me to "accept the truth," as long as i still live with them.
Well done on planning ahead for moving out Saethydd. It will no doubt be stressful but you have lots of opportunities ahead.
