What is "this crucial time" exactly?
Why are you talking like a Watchtower writer?
jehovah's witnesses have had to revise their chronology and various doctrinal interpretations due to events and scholarly corrections.
but the one teaching where they have been consistently ahead of the curve is the importance of jehovah's name.. .
i'm going to run through a (necessarily selective) timeline of jw events and scholarly publications that demonstrate the phenomenal success of this teaching in the last days.

Would almighty God have allowed this group of Christians to champion his name at this crucial time if they did not enjoy his blessing and support?
Are you serious?
"almighty god" ... "this crucial time" ...
WTF?
Jesus never uttered the name. If he did, where is the story of the furious argument that inevitably would have followed?
for months i have been telling my friends - very devout jws - about the problem of child abuse in the organization but it wasn't until they saw the bbc report that they finally believed it.
(i made mention of their reaction in an earlier post.).
today they have emailed me to say the bbc report has hit them really hard.
To think they no longer want to go in the ministry because of it
Speak to JWs at literature carts about these things every chance you get.
Weather was one of the key factors in saving the lives of the British army at Dunkirk. The Luftwaffe were able to fly a fraction of the missions they needed to due to low cloud. The BEF also destroyed the oil depots nearby creating a lot of smoke over Dunkirk.
Hitler had no notion at all of showing mercy to the British army. He trusted Goring to do the job. Goring failed.
don't start fighting, darlings.
i am genuinely curious.
after all i was a jobo 50 years and thought the wbt$ was 100% correct.. i ask this because i see that, for example, christian denominations (or whatever), likely have differing interpretations of the same writing.
I just believe in a God and I think Christ was a role model and I try to learn about him in order to becoming a better person
Why do you think that imitating the god of the bible will make you a better person?
no doubt we are all overjoyed at how we have progressed since breaking the shackles of the society!.
for those that have been here on this forum for some time, have you ever looked back at the version of "you" that first started posting here, and compared yourself with where you are at now?.
i am overjoyed at how much i have grown as a person!.
My beliefs have not changed at all. I have never stopped reading and learning new things so I guess I know more than I did then, particularly about science, nature, history and politics.
I am just as convinced as ever that there is no god but I am more sympathetic to those who think otherwise. I have a suspicion that religion has been/can be useful even though it is not true.
i don't mean for anyone to get into argument over this, i just want to hear what people believe.i hope that no one will mock or argue with someone else about their beliefs, i know that i won't in this topic.. i still believe in a christian god, not what jws believe, but believe that there has to be something after this life.
i am not sure about how armageddon would go, would it be like how evangelicals believe with a rapture or timing or anything, though i still believe in a form of armageddon.
i do think that all good people will go to heaven but i don't believe in a hell.
I often wondered why the vast majority never considered his words at the sermon on the mount: Matthew 5:5 - "The meek will inherit the earth." - Fall Guy
In the beatitudes Jesus declares certain types of people to be happy or blessed, and in each case he makes a promise concerning their future. (Matt.5:3-12) Among the promises that Jesus makes are, “the kingdom of the heavens belong to them”, “they will inherit the earth”, “they will see God” and “they will be called sons of God.”
Inheriting the earth and being in heaven are not mutually exclusive destinies in christian theology.
i left the organization.
my awakening was this month of july, the first week of july.
i couldn't answer my own questions about the organization or the doctrines, i couldn't understand the prophecies, i couldn't figure quite well what i was feeling.
Congratulations. The rest of your life begins now.

the big book of how to build a human - your genome - is approximately 3 billion letters long.. the text is arranged in long molecules of dna called chromosomes.
each letter of code in a chromosome is joined to its compliment - a to t and c to g - and the whole string is arranged in the iconic double-helix shape discovered by watson and crick in 1953.. our chromosomes come in pairs, one from our father and one from our mother.
Yes it is all dishonest quote-mining.
