I can understand a jw in Haiti feeling like it's just round the corner, as they face constant hardship and threats to their lives, with one disaster after another, but it must be hard for witnesses living in the middle-class suburbs of the US and Europe to convince people the world can't get any worse. The bit of 'Satan's' awful world where I live is peaceful and pleasant, apart from a small amount of crime of course. I would much rather be here, under 'Satan's' laissez-faire style governance, than be a Caananite having to live beside the genocidal cadres of 'Jehovah'.

Are you hearing "IF armaddon comes" more than "WHEN" nowadays? Have the old ones

Jehovah is his 'morphine pump'? I don't think he's thought that analogy through enough. So basically he's admitting the WT stuff he reads makes him delirious, euphorical, intoxicated and impervious to reality? Idiot.
I cringe when people try and make Biblical figures sound 'jazzy' 'hip' and 'cool'. It's not just jws who do this of course, in fact it's mostly fundamentalist evangelical douchebags. Their attempts to make Jesus into some kind of celestial rock star are highly amusing but ultimately I just want to throw a few hand grenades at them (are hand grenades legal in any states of the US? If so I need to move there).
I'm rambling now, had the flu for a few days and bored of blowing my nose. Wish there really was a God who could materialise beside me in bed and watch youtube videos with me(we'd have our pajamas to keep us decent mind you).

by shopaholic inso it appears that jws are letting their freaky side come out on fb for everyone to see.. there was talk on the ca yesterday strongly warning all true lovers of jehovah to delete their fb accounts.
the talk was solely about fb.
the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.

Congregation Bible Study Book

i'm pretty sure we're close to the end of keep yourselves in god's love, or maybe it's finished already, so if anyone knows what the new study aid will be please let me know.. .

I think from what you can read of him in the gospels (for all the accuracy they have ) that he was a driven man, caught up in himself and his mission, with very little time to listen to people. He liked to talk and not listen. Sounds like a jw to me .
