I never understood what the big fear draw. I mean FEAR is power in it's self. It's controls you and your thinking. Like fear of demons, WHY? I never figured it out. If your GOD"S people why are you woried about what the demons are goign to do. God is stronger than demons. So really they are really afraid God won't protect them. Which is crazy cause why WOULDN't God protect his people. Their whole reasoning is faulty, everything is backwards, upsidedown and inside out. I have yet to hear a witness explain it that understood it, and I even talked to a few elders.

one of the main objectives of the wt society was to make us have a fear of leaving the witnesses and doubt ourselves so much due to being told we were imperfect and sinful.
so then that produced guilt.

Yeah there trying to stay afloat. it's a GOOD sign that there struggling. I honestly don't think the sale will help them as much as they think. Sure they will get ALOT for Brooklyn, BUT they're also on this spending kick. Which I don't see them breaking anytime soon. I think they're goign to squander the money like they always do. It will go quick, after all they have to build a new place, and make it eco friendly like they said. It will be just more money to mismanage. HEHE

New WT Article on "grieving" Jah's HS
by daniel-p inso an old jw friend just contacted me on facebook to tell me to check out some new article on not grieving jehovah's holy spirit--he said everyone was talking about it and that i should check it out.
he knows i've been inactive, and this is the first time he's contacted me in years.. of course, he's known to get excited about things quite easily, especially in his manic states (bipolar).. anyway, does anyone know the article of which he was talking about?

I told my husband that I'm going to throw away my no blood card
by doublelife ini discussed my view with him and he understood the point i made but said that until he receives further instruction from the gb he will still refuse a transfusion.
i asked him if he would deny me a blood transfusion if i needed one and he said, "i don't know.
i went to lunch with my non-jw aunt and cousin and told them about the conversation.

Yeah right now I'm getting hounded to fill out the DPA card I haven't done it yet and have no intentions of doing so.. I honestly don't like the phrase "direct power of attorney". If they ask me to I'm telling them right now I'm going to have my lawyer look it over before I sign it. see what the reaction is. lol

Funny thing to do at the meetings
by Iwonder17 ini was at a worldy funeral the other day and say those little prayer cards on a table.
i thought to myself, wouldn't it be great to buy a bunch of these and drop a few every once in a while at the hall.
you could do it for months and drive the attendants crazy looking for them before anyone sees them and gets stumbled.. any fun tricks that you can think of?.

Any and every song from the new Sing Lullaby's to Jehovah book.... every song is soo monotone. Todays one USED to be one of the peppier songs and everyone automaticly got into the old zippy rythim.. Oh I had to listen to this BS today.. how witness are always there FIRST to help out or close to it.. and how the army comes and remarks they wish they could organize and feed the masses like witnesses do.. Totally ignoring all the stuff EVERYONE is doing to help out. People all over the world are going there and organizing drives to raise money and help out. It's truly a beautiful thing to behold. So far I haven't seen a witness do anything, I asked today if someone knew how "our brothers were doing" NO ONE NEW!!! Were is the love and concern??? Of course I know cause I come here.. LOL sad out the out ones care more than the in ones...

Ok you found one.. I double checked and sidn't see the top one. LOL it's used but never quoted, usually found with a list of scriptures and almost always to be the last one in the list...
and Wobble I noticed the missing verse too. I remember thinking we missed a paragraph when we went over it the first time. Glad I'm not the only one.. I'm going to go dig up my book and see which one is it. I'm curious not. HEHE
