January 16 WT Study Answers?

Anyways, this weeks is Young Ones What Will You Do With Your Life? Page 12 LINK

Yadda yadda yadda, it's another baptism artical. And I need a little help. The question I want to answer a couple questions, Paragraph 13 "Why should you get baptized", Paragraph 15,16 "How can you tell if you are rady for baptism"

There is one BOY age 11 that recently got baptized in my congregation. Obviously i dont want to pin point the child. But I do want to say something generic like. "We should follow Jesus's example, even though he was preaching at 12 (Luke 2:42), Jesus only got baptized when he was a mature adult"

Any other comments would be helpful :) THANKS IN ADVANCE!

PS I don't want to sound any bit aposte, hell I might even keep my mouth shut. But I was wondering what's a comment that you folks would make!

I said it before and I'll say it again, Six Screns are a "extremist" apostate group. Most of us on other forums tend to just leave the group and stop messing with it. They think they're protests infront of kingdom halls help, which is just crazy. They tend to attack more Witnesses, then the actual Watchtower.

How does the watchtower come up with it's dates? (607, 1878, 1914, 1975 etc)

can you help me out to find out how the watchtower gets to the date 607 and is it used in the 1914 doctrine?

information about 1975 and other key years in the watchtower's history will be neat to have to, such as the date judge came up with involving the return of abraham, david, and others.

One thing I'd like to start out with is the ORIGINAL way to get to 1914, from the Studies in the Scriptures series, Book 3 THY KINGDOM COME Page 153:

The fall, plagues, and destruction foretold to come upon the mystic Babylon, were foreshadowed in the great trouble and national destruction which came upon fleshly Israel, and which ended with the complete overthrow of that nation in A.D. 70. And the period of falling also corresponds for from the time our Lord said, "Your house is left unto you desolate" AD 33 to AD 70 was 36 1/2 years. And so from AD 1878 to the end of AD 1914 is 26 1/2 years. And with the end of AD 1914 what God calls Babylon and what men call Christendom, will have passed away as already shown from prophecy.

i did some cleaning in my garage today and oh my god.. i found russel's thy kingdom come.. ray franz's famous aid to bible understanding.. .

No but the only clue is Watch Tower, 150 Bridgeland AVE.

The bridgeland location was closed a long time ago. Not sure when, but that may help.

Ya but allow and does is two different things. Such as letting someone get shot while you stand by, or you yourself pulling the trigger

The persecution Job goes under is by Satan, but God is standing by lettting it happen.
God "pulls the trigger" in 1 Samuel because Satan isn't involved at all. It's God's evil spirit doing the work.

Saul never attacked David... just like how Satan puppeted the snake, Jehovah through Saul tried to attack David...

Did anyone view it that way? And can anyone reply with any other places where God or God's spirit did evil things?

the view held by christian theology is that god did not create evil.

you may argue this point using scripture to support either side.

however that argument is but a symptom of a much larger problem which is choice and free will.. the concept among christians is that sin, suffering, and evil deeds began with the original sin.
