  i'm 19, and i'm still currently a jw.

  i guess i'm a born-in, or whatever you guys call it.

  i've had some serious issues with the faith at the moment, and sexuality is a huge part.

  MP3s !!! 2010-2011 DC TALKS

  commentary on mp3s: (in addition to circulate as you see fit!).

  in light of the wts's recent attempts to conceal it's talks from broader inspection and documentation, mp3s to the public are now mostly the works of the 'conscious class' and those exjws who force themselves to endure hours upon hours of control-laced presentations.

  kudos to all those who embody anonymous.

  I was listening to Saturday's Technology talk. The brother said that Jehovah steals our time ( 10:20). I had to relisten to make sure I hadn't misheard. I think it was a mistake but I wonder what people thought.

  Non-practising homosexual JW's

  as i understand it, being gay is not a sin in the organization, only homosexual acts are sins.

  i've never read anywhere that gay jw people are encouraged to "fix" their gayness and marry.. i've certainly known a fair number of confirmed bachelor types who live exemplary lives in the witness sense - one life-long bethelite i knew springs to mind - but are clearly (to me anyway) gay.

  they've all been in the closet though.. i wonder if any jw has ever been out of the closet, but not disfellowshipped since they don't have sex?

  I think there should be an experience at the assembly about this. Then people in the congregation might actually accept the fact that they exist.

  I've known a few people. They usually go to Bethel or fade away. You seem to stand out a lot if you don't get married. I think some people would be really encouraged if brothers came out. Others woudl be utterly shocked.

  Mill Hill Disfellowshippings

  a few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.

  i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.
