  Taping Conventions from the Radio Frequency outside?

  does anyone know how that works?

  we have so many conventions where i live, i can easily tape it.

  I find it difficult to believe this. What you have posted is a link to a web site that provides devices for 'auditory assistance'. The range on the transmitter that I looked at was a mere 1000 ft. That's barely out into the auditorium - where the folks don't need this device. What you may be referring to - might be for the hard-of-hearing - or deaf section of the auditorium.

  Yes, a bit of a mix-up here. This announcement applied to Assemlies at Assemly Halls (and local kingdom halls). I'm actually not to sure what they do for the large conventions in public buildings.

  Locally they announced that they soon won't be supporting the regular FM channels any longer. Instead we need to buy FM receivers for http://www.williamssound.com receivers which use a lower FM frequency than the regular radio range. Expensive little receivers, though.

  Doesn't the fact that Jesus basically said " I shall by no means drink anymore of the product of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” immediately after they drank the wine indicate that he also drank it?

  i live in a city with a few major universities.

  last thursday, i got off work, and as i hit the main avenue on my way home, i noticed people with their graduation robes and caps on.

  i saw parents ecstatic that their children were now adults, and had accomplished something both they and their parents could be proud of.

  i've been on here nearly a year and i believe it is time to move on.. i think i know what i want out of life.

  i have been spending less time on here and am now back in full time employment (not on a consultancy basis - but properly employed!)..

  i need to think about building a career and consider the future, build a retirement fund, reduce my debts and pay off my mortgage.

  Watchtower Pubs 1870-1960 Torrent

  found this torrent of most of the watchtower books from 1870-1960:.

  it's currently a bit light on seeders, but the more that join in, the easier it will be to keep this torrent alive (and if anyone can seed for a bit, that would be greatly appreciated!

  In case anyone is not familiar with torrents, you first need to install a torrent downloading program, like uTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/). After it is installed, you can click on the "Download this Torrent" link on the previous page. A "seeder" is someone who has the full file(s) and is uploading to others.

  It's usually a good idea to upload at least 50% more than was downloaded in order to keep the torrent alive (ie. the seed ratio is set to 150%, so if you downloaded 1GB, it will upload until 1.5GB has been uploaded).

  The outline says:

  "For example, Exodus 1:6 refers to Joseph and "all his brothers" as "all that generation"

  Ten of Joseph's brothers witnessed events that occurred before Joseph's birth; at least two of his brothers lived on after his death

  Although ages varied, these contemporaries were viewed as one generation."

  However, taken in context, it seems that Exodus 1:6 does NOT indicate that "all that generation" refers to "Joseph" and "all his brothers"

  Exodus 1:1-4 list all of Joseph's brothers who came into Egypt. Exodus 1:5, states "and all the souls who issued out of Jacob's upper thigh came to be seventy souls, but Joseph was already in egypt".

  Exodus 1:6 (NWT) says: "Eventually Joseph died, and also all his brothers and all that generation".

  Thus logically shouldn't Joseph refers to Joseph, all his brothers refers to all his brothers (vs 1-4), and "all that generation" refers to Jacob's grandchildren (the "seventy souls" who came out of his "upper thigh")?

  Why is it so god-awful important for them to keep pushing a doctrine that you would think would be a major embarrassment to them?

  Perhaps on the principle that if you say something enough times then people start to believe it.

  I find this phrase especially interesting:

  "To Illustrate: F. W. Franz was born in 1893, baptized in 1913, and thus alive to discern "the sign" in 1914.

  I wonder if they are implying here that you need to have been baptized in order to have discerned "the sign"?
