  new york (cbs) pat robertson, the american christian televangelist and host of "the 700 club," said that haitians need to have a "great turning to god" while he was reporting on the devastating 7.0 earthquake that shook the island nation the most powerful to hit the country in a century.

  as haitian prime minister jean-max bellerive said "well over" 100,000 people may have died in the national disaster, robertson took to the airwaves wednesday on his show and said that the country has been "cursed by one thing after another" since they "swore a pact to the devil.

  "something happened a long time ago in haiti and people might not want to talk about," robertson said tuesday.

  i was thinking about the fact that the society is changing all the lingo that is associated with the new world order, new system and the like.

  what i was wondering is if it is important to get away from this phrasing, what are they going to do with the new world translation?

  Let down is an understatement,I gave up all the enjoyable things in life to join those Idiots and now I have a lot of catching up do.. These Brothers need to do some SEX, DRUGS AND ROCK 'n' ROLL or are they doing that behind closed doors.

  Let the "Tithing" begin!

  last night during the service meeting a letter was read indicating that more money was needed by jehovah's witnesses in order to expand the world-wide work .

  it was suggested that each publisher take a piece of paper and write down the amount of money they would be willing to give and hand it to the elders.

  it seems to be a cleverway to gather "seed money" by the organization while not calling it a "tithe.
