I'm new here
by Diamonds ini stumbled across this website a few months back and have often read the topics posted but this is the first time that i've posted anything myself.. all my family are jws - i got baptized when i was 17 but started to fade when i was about 20 and finally left at 22 when i managed to escape to university and move away from home.
ten years on and i am still out of the org but never disfellowshipped (although i would have been if they'd have known what i've been up to!).
the relationship with my family is not great - i get on with some members better than others.

WE Irish are the true owners of tartan not the Scots
Tartan (kilt) did indeed originate in Ireland, which was introduced to the then unnamed country of Scotland by the Scots, who moved from Ireland to re-found their ancient kingdom, Dalriada and gave the Scotland its name. The very first form of tartan is nothing like its modern day counterpart; it being a form of shirt that ended just above the knee - known as léine in Irish Gaelic.

Can You Get DFd for Working for the Department of Defense?

the other day i told a member of my family, and they nearly went apeshit.. my question: what reprecussions could this reasonably have?
does the wts speak of this in any of their publications?

quick survey on auto driving method... one foot or two?
by Gregor inwith an automatic transmission do you drive with two feet (one on throttle the other for brakes) or one foot for gas and brakes?
apparently some auto mfgs.
are making the two foot method tricky through electronics.
