  who had a child molester in their congregation ?

  i have done this thread a long time ago , but a few newbies have joined recently and may have had some experiances to share , there was 2 in the congregation i was involved with (i was a "study" ) one was from bethel in america and got deported after his prison sentence and the other was reprooved for abuse then carried on abusing in the congregation , years later he abused my daughter and after i found out i reported him to the police , but he had got off "scot free" for 20 years untill i reported him .

  i believe the one from bethel was reported to the police simply because elders kids were affected ..

  In my first cong a father was abusing his kids and went to prison. In my second cong a different father was abusing his daughter he later committed suicide rather than being exposed.

  As well as this we also had two sexual predators that preyed on young sisters.

  I think the society protects and by their lack of action encourage these sickos and as such no cong is safe.

  If you have kids and are still attending JW meetings keep this in mind and protect your children trust no one!!!!

  My Dad Died Today

  he has been ill for some time, but it was still unexpected.

  he was never a jw and i didn't really have a close relationship with him, since he remarried after my parents divorced.

  i reunited with him in the mid 90's after over 10 years of not seeing him.. .

  i left the "truth" in 2002 after being in it for more than 30 years.

  i am so glad i wasn't raised in the "truth".

  my very zealous wife who was raised in the "truth" found a worldly boyfriend and swore nothing ever happened.

  Child access mediation went pretty good...they miss more meetings

  well, some of you may know i have been battling the ex since late last year for better access to the children.. after calling her bluff and actualy getting a lawyer, we had to go to mediation before it could progress to court.. appointment one was postphoned by her so she could get better prepared.

  the session was a total failure with her wanting me to see them less and drive 8 hours over 2 days for visits.

  (we are 2 hours apart).

  JWness aside its great that you will be able to spend time with your kids and keep your relationship alive. If you can also get them away from JW cultdom its a bonus!

  Best Use for Jehovah's Word

  i was wondering what the best use people ever had for "jehovah's word".

  for me, "jehovah's word" aided me tremendously in my gardening efforts.

  i had to borrow some books from my mom to get the full use of all this spiritual information but my new strawberry plants will enjoy all this material.

  i'm just curious: has the watchtower said when we will have armageddon, or they are avoiding to give any date, or are they avoiding noticing that all the signs are there to suggest that there is a specific date we should look forward to?

  my husband just got his job back, after a year.

  fully reinstated <snort> at his old level of pay and everything.

  he goes to pick up his company truck today, and starts tomorrow!
