it's a debilitating form of spinal arthritis and the symptoms of this auto-immune disorder affect more than my spine.

we all know what a mess the jw "generation" teachings have been.
but, there is one hard and fast truth concerning jws and "generations" - that is, that many generations of jws have died without the realization of the hope they were promised.. there were many before my grandfather's time, but i'm going to start with his.
his generation, his peers, lived at a time when jwdom was exciting, bold, confident, seemingly deeper and scholarly, seemingly genuinely concerned about the preaching work and saving lives.
Magnum- Good topic. It is awful that you have had so much wasted time in the ORG, but do not let your heart be sad. You figured it out. You were deceived because you had no choice. You're parents and grandparents were JWs. You were raised in it and never had a shot at truth.
My brother is like your grandfather, his kids are like your mother and his grandkids are like you. Millions living now will never die?
What to do now is a bigger question. Live a life well lived. Enjoy the wonder of creation and thank God for the obvious things like family, friends, health, mobility and life. Also thank God for the bad things and troubles. How would you know to be thankful for the good things if you didn't have bad things to contrast the good things against? The WTS will go on, but without you....and that's good

What makes the WTS different from the other 39,999 christian sects that actively protests the Catholic church?

They all say they interpret the bible as God intended, but did God or Jesus ever command anyone to write down scriptures and then follow them?
No, Jesus commissioned the apostles to go forth to all nations baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost AND to do ALL that he had told them to do. Not some of what he told them to do
i asked this question to a relative after mentioning several situations where teachings were changed or readjusted (new light) and they have two reasons.
yes, they are correct because look at how the preaching work has grown through the decades and the advancements in witnessing and the second reason was the doctrine of the trinity and how the society opposes that.
i didn’t really have a response, especially for the trinity doctrine.. does the governing body have the rejection of the trinity belief correct?.
