truth is so important to them that they even use the term "truth" as a name for their teachings.

The bible was never intended to be a something to base a religion on.

The bible [a collection of books] was put together and confirmed by catholic bishops hundreds of years after Jesus rose from the dead. [around 380 ad]

The idea of a religion based on the bible and calling it Christianity just doesn't work when you add up those facts.

Who ever said the bible is the word of God? The catholic church, that's who. It's a catholic book and JWs typically hate the catholics just as they have been taught by the WTS

Because the bible was not confirmed until around 380 ad [or so] it begs the question that JWs do not ask. What was the early church like? the first 300 plus years

Did the early Christians believe that Jesus was God? Did they drink the wine and eat the bread believing that it was the body and blood of Jesus?

I think it was Dr Scott Hahn who said 'For those bold enough to earnestly research the claims of the catholic church, they will have a spiritual shock that would delight them.'

Apostate - what does the word mean to you?

over a period of time i got to thinking - what does the word 'apostate' mean to me.

having given it some thought, this is my view;.

the org has given the word its own definition and basically use it to demonise people and consider them pariahs.. however, the jw meaning of 'apostate' is a mere word and only has power if recognised as such.

The word 'apostate' should go hand and hand with 'education'

That's why people leave the WTS. They are apostates BECAUSE they are educated

WTS are the biggest apostates!

Any group that promotes lying to attain it's own distorted goals are apostates to the Almighty who has stated in the scriptures over and over again that HE hates a liar and He hates a lying tongue.

JWs say ' We can lie because people hiding Jews during WW2 lied to protect them and that was righteous'

Of course, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head when asking legit questions about their faith.

So tell me again. How many times has the WTS falsely predicted the end times?

Jesus returned already/ Invisibly?

Really, you're not going to die?

Oh, only JWs have the truth, which had been lost for almost 2000 years and the JWs restored it, because they are the only ones going door to door restoring God's true name?

Oh, and that's their fruits.

Not orphanages, or hospitals, or schools or universities or food banks or battered or homeless shelters?

Why are the WTS apostates? Because they have no fruits. Only works that produce no fruits.

So, no. I personally do not accept the WTS as reliable translators of the bible because they really have no idea who Jesus is...not a &ucking clue...

The Word of God states unequivocally that God AND Jesus are the alpha and omega.

That said, it is not possible for Man to be God

It is possible that God to become man as HE cannot be limited.

The great 1914 turn around

i must say there is no other religion in modern times that has lied more to their cult followers than the watchtower company and no more brain dead, gullible cult members than the jdubs.. just three examples.

when russel was in charge 1914 was prophesied to be the end of the system of things with armageddon and the earthly paradise.

that didn't happen and poof now 1914 was not the end, oh no, it was the beginning of the end.. the second example, the generation that saw 1914 would not pass away before the end came, which meant in all jdubs minds that paradise had to be here in the late 1990's.

1914,of course , that was the year that Jesus inspected all of the religions and declared that the WTS was the only religion giving proper spiritual food.

on my way to church today i was approached by a man asking me if i had a mobile telephone.

i had one on me but i said i didn’t, and i certainly wasn’t going to let the guy use it.

The WTS thinks Jesus was a liar or an incompetent fool?

the whole idea of a great apostasy means that jesus was lying [or he was a crazy fool] when he said that he would be with his church until the end of the age.
