Why is it of such concern if it was on a stake, a cross, a tree, a circular shape, or whatever? I honestly could never understand the intense scrutiny this piece of irrelevent trivia is subjected to. Does it make or break anything that matters to actual people's lives?

John Doe - I wasn't necessarily fishing for lots of replies I just thought that exactly zero of them for over a day was a little strange given that there was a normal amount of activity. I guess in a way also I'm trying to figure out how much this crowd relates to me and vice versa. So far I am getting the impression that most people here are about a decade or 2 older than me not only chronologically but also in terms of preferences in music, humor, social norms, etc. And a minority of people seem interested in expanding their "comfort zone" of familiar things (which I guess could be an age thing as well). But also since I do know that a lot of really good posts go unnoticed for various reasons (not the least of which is that it's harder here than on the average forum to pick up where one left off last time without missing some stuff), I sent it TTT a couple times.
Jadeen - Yes I absolutely love C&H, definitely one of my top 10 favorite comics. There are a few others .. pon and zi, and some whose names I can't remember right now.

It's a webcomic -- online only. The name of the strip is really misleading. It's actually very much pro-good and very often pro-God. It just has a lot of really :cringe: kind of stuff thrown in the mix.
The dog and cat (Pooch and Percival I think) are pure gold.
And the girl and guy story - which I never really noticed before even though it's probably the main subtheme - is all about me and the young lady JW.
Anyway - there is a link at the bottom of the first post that goes to the archive .. or well, here.
... and shamus, i was just getting impatient for someone to pong my ping. I mean when John Doe can come on here and go "Mrphhh" and get 5 pages, I reasoned, I should at least get a "mrphhh", etc.

Do you have a Jezebel photo?
by feenx inalright, so i am sharing some fun tidbits with my fiance about things i remember as a kid growing up.
we were trying to remember the woman from the old testament who murdered a king (she went to a christian school so we both got hammered with the bible) and we couldn't.
inevitably when you're talking about any women from the old testament jezebel comes up.
