... I'm surprised the word "unfortunate" is used.

another +1 for Rammstein
... this thread is definitely expanding out from the original topic. I've been holding back but now I feel compelled to throw a few more into the mix
made me cry after i sent it to him...he and mom are in great health....super fit....late sixties....and he finally said what i did a few years ago basically....but to hear your dad say it....the long long term superwise superfine superlogical elder...... .
"son...i have finally decided that i will die before this system ends".
i mean geeze....even saying "this system"......it is sooooo much a cult buzzword....where the hell do they get that anyway?
Wow, I never expected this. I always thought the obviously better option was to die before all that tribulation stuff happens. What's the big attraction to having to live through it? The dead are spared having to experience horrific calamities. What am I missing here? (I hope it's at least something more than gawking at catastrophe.)
p.s. darth -- I'm sorry to hear about your mother.
millions are now facing the dilemma of making house payments on a property that is not worth what is being paid.
.
after originally promising to repay the bank, is there a "moral" obligation to continue in a dwelling, even at a loss ... or is it best to exercise the "legal" right of foreclosure and pay the consequences ?.
Okay okay ... I have been wondering about that though. I disagree with the idea of stopping payment because the investment value decreased, even though I have about the same respect for bankers that I do for suicide bombers.

Question: if I have, say ... $6000 in the bank, and my monthly mortgage is $2500, and I am unemployed and have no income, can I "afford" to pay that mortgage, and if so, for how long, until I have exactly $0 to my name?
