Geez, Its so scary how familiar these stories all are. You guys got awhile? Or maybe I should just post "my story". I will soon, but heres the readers digest version, pertaining to injustice & the jw's.
Someone mentioned cancer. My dad had cancer & when he was doing the reading of the watchtower, they took him aside & told him He could'nt sit to read anymore. He had to stand as it "looked bad". He died six mo. later, w/ no apology.
After that, his parents sued us/his estate for $20,000 dollars for the 3 mo. we lived w/ them. We were told we couldnt go to court to protect his assets. This same grandfather went to prison 6 yrs. later for ripping off elderly people. They were very wealthy, my grandparents.
We had to move 6 mo. later. A widow & 3 "fatherless boys". Did they help us? No, it was saturday. Everyone in service. Who helped? The mormons.
Our house burned while we were @ meeting. Who helped us while everyone else was Out in service? The poor, the slackers, the inactive. Actually, this has always been thie case, it's the ones that everyone looks down on who've always been there.
What about my brother & all the ones who never recieved justice after being raped? Being denied school? Being denied LIFE as a result of archaic medical opinions? Yeah, the jw's really do suck. In general. Poor bastards.
