my thoughts are with you as well. Losing a loved one is awful, painful, and not something to get over soon. Come back with your grief, pain, or general irritations as much as you need. We care about you (and her) We'll be here as much and for as long as you want.

Nah, it was'nt breeders. She had parvo as a pup. Seemed fine for much of her adult life, then went nuts.Breeder said it may have been the parvo. What i'm saying is things can happen to drive dogs nuts, just like people. I'm glad you love your dobies and they love you. They can be alot of fun.

I also have had Dobies, and often they are everything you describe. They can also be jumpy, crazy, poorly trained, or just plain inbred and genetically screwed up and unpredictable. And unless it's a "service dog" no, you can't take them everywhere. Just like you can't take a gun in a courthouse, etc.
Also, there are only about 74 million dogs in the US. There are about 268 million guns in the US. More guns by about four-to-one. And yet dog attacks outweigh gun attacks by AT LEAST 8-1. What does that tell you?

Okay, then ban all dogs except those used in hunting, etc. You know, single action dogs. Semi-Auto and Automatic dogs should be banned.

Say there's 105,000 gun injuries in the US every year serious enough to warrant medical attn.
Know what that stat for dog bites is every year? 800,000, and that's just the ones serious enough for medical attn. Dogs BITE 4.7 MILLION people in the US every year. I say we ban dogs.

Tuna casserole
8 oz egg noodles - i like multi-grain ones.
1 cup frozen veggies
1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 6 oz can tuna, drained and flaked
pepper, thyme and garlic powder to taste
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a med saucepan. add noodes. Cover and simmer 5 minutes (I use other pasta sometimes, such as rotini, and just add a minute or 2 to the simmer time). add veggies, cook 5 minutes more. add other ingredients, heat through, about 5 minutes. Let stand several minutes and eat. -

Protection? Get a good dog.

Are you kidding? First off, you can't take your dog everywhere. Second, there are FAR more maimings, killings, and injuries caused by dogs every year than Guns. ESPECIALLY children. Ask anyone who works in an ER.
