  last night my wife told me that she would be celebrating the holidays with me and the kids.

  she said i'm a good husband and i deserve it.

  she also said maybe we should look at other religions together.

  Hey I just had a question,
  Could she get in trouble ie. Judicial committee if she tells her study chick that she's celebrating the holidays with me. I don't wish it on her but I think she will tell her and I'm wondering what possible repercussions there are. She is by the way a baptised JW who was inactive and has been getting back into it over the last year.

  It is so sudden and unexpected. Just out of the blue she said it. I don't know we will have to see how it works out. I have ups and downs I don't know what to think. I sure hope it the beginning of an exit.

  Ahhhh The Trinity is just a word to try to help people understand the nature of God. The true problem is the diety of Christ. My neighbor and I were talking, he's 1st church of the Nazarene and i asked him if they are Trinity based and he said. No, we believe that the Father is God the Son is God and The Holy Spirit is God, but we aren't trinity based. I told him that is a great definition of the trinity. I guess the point is that there are alot of non-trinitarian christian churches but most believe in the Diety of Christ.

  Anyway we are blocking up my Joy Joy thread with doctrine.

  I'm soo happy, but I worry it'll all be taken back. I don't know though because she told me this just hours after her weekly indoctrination errrr weekly bible study. I don't know whats going on in her mind. she wont let on what brought it about, if she has any doubts she will keep it to herself. She is strong willed and wouldn't like me to think I "won". I don't think I have won a argument in 12 years. She hasn't been pushing to go to meeting the last month or two, Hey I have no Idea.

  Last night my wife told me that she would be celebrating the holidays with me and the kids. She said I'm a good husband and I deserve it. She also said maybe we should look at other religions together. (I'm Catholic and she's JW) I said sure I'd be happy too, I said I would 10 mos ago. But she said she doesn't know whether we could find anything because 95% of the religions believe in the trinity. I think the problem is actually the Diety of Christ. what do you think

  i am currently inactive but still an approved/baptized member.

  i have seen all the 1914/607bce evidence; the blood transfusion quandry evidence; the current child abuse problem evidence and several other things that are damning to the wt doctrines.

  I'm not alot of help, I'm worldly ohhhh ahhhhh but as far as getting the books by cash etc. Go to Hastings if you have one and order them that's how I was able to get mine without causing probs with my wife.

  Hi

  Sorry I can't help you, I'm what you would call an unbelieving husband, a bad association, and possibly an opposer (sp). While I didn't chose these labels and feel it's unfortunate that they were given to me, I thought I would be upfront about it.

  Never the less the reson for my response is that I'm sorry that you feel that you need to restrict your choices in trying to find a friend. Really out of 65 billion people on the planet you are looking for "spiritual baptised JW's". So out of 65 billion you restrict to Jw's (what about 4 mill) and then spiritual (I am assuming this would then cut out any who you feel is having doubts, weak spiritually, associate with the wrong people, within 10 years of your age hmm anything else.) So that should get you to about roughly uhhhh 6 yes six people in your home town I also accounted for those leading double lives and showing a good face at the KH and then a "Worldly" side outside of the Hall.

  I guess that kinda shows what you are up against. There are literally millions of people who live good lives and are godly. You just are restricting your options to to small of a group. I know not of this world..... I had my life touched deeply yesterday by a "Worldly" man who is a fallen away Catholic and a member of the airforce. He showed me more love than almost anyone else in my life. And he's just a friend and coworker. Love is where you find it, You don't have to look hard just don't crush it before you look.
