One of my wifes relatives did this. They sold everything and did the borgs work instead of their own. they wasted their 30s and early 40s for the Borg. They are close to 50 now and starting over with nothing.

i wish there was away to track the psych job during patterson and other major projects of what happened to all the "friends" that sold and got rid of their livelyhood then and where are they now.. did you ever sacrifce it all for a building project only to be left with nothing after your "spiritual high"?.

JW Info-Commercial Memorial Service
by William Penwell ini attended a jw memorial service about 2 years ago and the speaker i thought gave a good eulogy to the diseased even though he quoted a few scriptures.
just recently i attended another jw memorial and the sermon was about 10 minutes on the person and the rest a big info-commercial with a scripture quoted one after the other.
i did not keep count but i would think the speaker read about 10 - 12 scriptures.

The last jw funeral I was at the elder did the 5 minute eulogy and then did go off the outline to tell the inactive jw relatives that they would not live through Armageddon to see their dead aunt. Asshole
of course a lot of people went up to him after and told him that was the best funeral talk they ever heard.

by NAVYTOWN inseveral years ago, i was studying the bible (jw literature) with an ms from the local congregation.
i happened to mention that i had several pen pals who were incarcerated in various prisons.
no matter what crimes they committed, i said i saw them as fellow human being who deserved to have a friend to write to.

A question for my friends in the USA about cowboys.
by punkofnice inas a kid growing up in the uk we used to play 'cowboys and indians' and watch high chaparal and bonanza along with other cowboy films.
later, in the 70's kung fu would be shown with caine going through the 'old west'.
we even had a chocolate bar that was marketed with a 'cowboy' theme...milky bar.. as far as i know the 'wild west' as shown on tvdidn't actually exist.. are there people that believe it did?.

You didn't kill him. He had a chemical inbalance in his brain whereby he couldn't handle critisism the same way as a normally functioning brain. I suffer from depression, and with tablets can control this dippilidating illness. I have many a times fought back the thoughts of suicide, once I did not, and well, I'm here today so...

there exist today working ranches in western canada and United States that employ cowboys to herd cattle on horseback in the back country. Some of these " cowboys" happen to be native North Americans or formerly called Indians. thus my previous comment some cowboys are Indians.
