  in my experience the problem isn't the length of the meeting for service but pioneers and publishers dogging it after the service arrangement.

  Jdub Growth In USA?

  I actually stopped short when I read that again, trying to figure out justhow they were a drain.

  
  They are a monetary drain as well as a"spiritual" drain. Winos (love that term btw) take up space at the Kingdom Hall, they are assigned to a field service group and they use up elders and ministerial servants precious time.
  These cultural jehovahs witnesses usually are the ones that don't report field service on timeand don't show up for theocratic ministry school assignments. Sometimes they are subject to judicial investigation. This contributes to elder and ministerial servant burnout.

  The ones that barely comment at meetings,live how they want, rarely go in field service and NEVER donate. Those Jws are a drain on the company's assets

  Accept Jehovah's Discipline

  so many times the wt uses a phrase close to that, when they really mean accept the gb's discipline.

  with all of these sex abuse cases and other skeletons in the gb closet coming to light, just like king david, perhaps somebody should tell the gb to take their own advice and accept jehovah's discipline as all of their dirty laundry will continue to get exposed and they need to humble themselves.

  Most of the time accepting jehovahs discipline means accepting the dictates of the local alpha male elder as truth and acquiescing to his petty demands.
