so me and my wife have not been on speaking terms for about 5 weeks, and when we do .
talk…it is arguing about the jw cult and more of a barrage from me telling here all the stuff i have learned.
i know i shouldn't do this....but, i get so freaking p.o ed aobut what this cult has done to my family.
It might be game over for you. Jws have been conditioned to be loyal to the watchtower corporation , not to their spouses, family or friends. It is like a compulsion to them.
If confronted in a jc just deny ever saying it. If she calls up the elders on it your marriage is probably over anyway.
i remember a co saying from the platform, " people often say blood is thicker than water.
well not in jehovah's organization" i don't know about anyone else, but it sure rubbed me the wrong way and one of the million reasons why i left!.
Of course it isn't in the "truth". Family means nothing in the jw org

to elaborate, the agenda for the co meeting with the elders had an item about the "beard paragraph" (sept watchtower p21 para 17) which i assumed would be an instruction to not use any with beards on the platform.
instead he genuinely wanted to know if we would recommend a brother if he had a beard but everything else was ok. he kept pressing until he got 100% saying yes - a beard isn't a problem.
Bunch of Pharisees.
so our congregation is full of hardliner elders, 3 of them, who are not gentle, kind or loving.. people have either moved away or quit trying because one elder inparticular was going to drive them crazy with all his rules and nit picking and being righteous over much.
(and he is pissed that he hasn't been accepted to the school.
hmmm, i wonder why!).
i just dropped my daughter off to her mum at her parents house.
it was 12pm and i knew they meet for feild service there but my ex and i assumed they would still be out knocking on doors.
i pull up in the street and there's quite a few cars parked up and the house was backed with jdubs from my old congregation.

so this past week the wife and i have received several phone calls and text messages from our old hall.
we were also invited out to dinner to catch up with some old friends.
an hour before dinner this guys wife messaged my wife and said that she "can't wait for tonight!!
Why are you even considering these people as your friends?
Before the dinner one of them probably mentioned to a jw they were going for dinner with you. The jw probably said you are bad association because you did this or that.
Enjoy the company of your wife and forget about these people.

A jw friend of mine(now ex jw) was married to a needy bitch like that. He couldn't win. She would complain about him not earning enough and when he would pick up some jobs on the side complain that he was neglecting her and not doing enough "spiritually"

letter sent today to the ministry of justice... .
spain bethel sent a letter recently last oct 3 interpreting that no elder or sm should request a certificate of sexual offenses as other churches or persons in contact with kids.
again jw.org interprets the law to their behalf.. a group of elders in madrid has sent this letter to ask clarification !!.
They probably don't want their asses sued.
