This video was full of class distinctions. A Latino construction worker looked down upon by the Asian guy in financial services. Or was it the other way around.
The wife of the Asian accountant played the part well of an entitled middle class bitch

within the organization, jehovah's witnesses know that they must be dutiful and set an example for "worldly ones" as well as for their own brotherhood.
if a witness fails in setting the proper example, they may lose some 'privileges"..... what privileges did you look to have and what privileges did you lose?
?.
In Alcatraz work was a privilege too
may 15, 2017 to all bodies of elders re: regular pioneers.
uk version.
A buddy of mine put in the 90 hours a month without being a pioneer. It pissed off the elders and circuit overseer that he refused to sign up as a pioneer. He finally signed up as a pioneer after putting in big hours for a couple of years. He pioneered for a few months and quit. He is a marginal jw now
battery technology has been making leaps and bounds in affordability and energy output throughout the past decade.
while pure electric cars currently have limited range, the near future holds prospects for longer ranges.
hybrids, and recently plug in hybrids, have a mileage of up to 50 mpg* giving them a range of 500 miles from a ten gallon gas tank.
What you said is incorrect bohm. For every person like me there are 100 who drive only short distances. That is why there is a market for this product.

I never did say electric vehicles are no good. They just wouldn't work for me at this time. Right now they are meant for people who live in cities with short commuting times.

I'm not sure where everyone is coming from here but travelling 1000 km in one trip happens on a regular basis in my life and many others who live in remote northern communities. People have to travel for medical appointments, shopping or just to get out. A fully electric vehicle would not only need to propel itself but also provide heat for defrosting windows and keeping it's occupants from freezing.

I have issues with the current range of electric vehicles. When they can travel up to a thousand km on one charge in 40 below zero temperatures I might consider one.
has anybody seen the new half-hour jw talk show called the inside story?
the pilot is included in part 2 of the latest gilead graduation program, and they said more will likely come.. basically, it's probably one of the most cringeworthy programs to ever come out of jw broadcasting.
it has all the tropes: an opening monologue, a studio audience, a live band, and guests that move down the couch to the left as the next guest is introduced.
Someone at bethel misses david letterman
i was wondering what the view jehovah witnesses and the bible and tract society had on medical cannabis?
i remember as a kid reading in the reasoning book that marijuana was bad and smoking it caused cancer and was worse then cigarettes.
as more reach comes out we are leaning marijuana can cure certain forms of cancer!
When they legalize it here in Canada I'm going to try some cannibas. I can do whatever I want in the privacy of my home.
read this over at reddit so the credit goes to the person over there but in genesis 4:22 it's say one of the offspring of adam knew how to work with iron roughly 130 years after the creation of man.
now historians and scientists say man didn't figure out how to use iron until about 1100 bc, man we're we wrong!
it's also interesting that cain is building a city when there like 10 people on the planet and nimrod goes on to build the tower of babel only about 100 year after the flood.
Or the methuselah tree that pre dates the flood by 500 years but somehow survived being under water for more than a year.
