  as intelligence increases exponentially in the next 10 or 20 year the watchtower's version of utopia will be small beans compared to the horizon that exponential intelligence will give in the near future.. let's face it as a corporation they will face their own financial dooms day because of their persistent archaic ignorance, not to mention delusional and wishful thinking as well..

  I don’t think we are hearing the whole story. Although I don’t know these people personally, some in my congregation know them. Ever since this episode happened over a year ago it has been unspoken in our congregation. I joked about it one day in field service and got the evil eye from one of the sisters who know the naked jws.

  The judge is smart enough to realize these people are cult victims and has sentenced them to receive critical thinking training as part of their psychiatric treatment. I hope it helps them wake up and formulate an exit strategy.

  we have recently been in asia on vacation, travelling to a number of countries in this part of the world.

  whilst in thailand, my wife, totally pimo, wanted to go to the english speaking convention in bangkok.

  although i haven't been active for a very long time, i went along with her.. the first thing that slightly surprised me was the attendance, well over 900. i hadn't expected that many but they were from all over the country, which is a pretty big place.

  I’ve always had issues with these people.

  There have been 7 rural congregations closed due to staffing shortages in my butt fuck nowhere region of northern Canada. Did I also mention it’s colder than a witches tit here?

  About 2 years before our hall closed its doors for good 3 of our pioneer/elder ministerial servants left to serve where the need was warmer. We had one elder and then after renovation of the Kingdom Hall the congregation was closed.

  Then when these need greater come home for a vacation they are paraded on the stage at the circuit assembly about what good work they are doing.

  i left wt, 18 years ago.

  never thought that i would have witness such a massive doctrinal and structure changes as well.

  i find it hard to recognize that religion.. what i can tell, like all of ex jw's is that wt going down.. their corporate directors know it.

  I worked for a company that was going broke. The general manager lied about the financial health of the company to the workers so that they wouldn’t look for a job elsewhere. The manager’s end game was to keep the company going as long as possible so she and her husband could keep getting a fat pay check.

  Why would watchtower tell the truth about the numbers? Everyone might quit.

  i was talking to a friend who is an elder in a congregation near belfast city over in northern ireland.

  he was telling me that several of the sisters wanted to put fresh flowers in the hall on a weekly basis just to pretty the place up.

  he said "sure, why not, it's a great idea, and the congregation will reimburse the costs as long as they aren't too expensive.

  One of our elders is a HVAC technician. The furnace in the Kingdom Hall quit on one of the coldest days of winter and he wasn’t allowed to fix the fucking furnace until the coordinator received direction from the LDC

  it's been 12 years since i submitted my resignation letter, and stopped playing by their rules.. in a spurt of manic rationality, i blew up the bridge, sky high.

  knowing that the diseased organ would need to be forever removed, away from anything remotely functional in my mind, body, and soul.

  lest i be tempted to return.... so, i left.
