i guess you could make a case of more families being together although that might not be the best situation.

Mrs hoser and I are still working as we are both in essential services. I had to change the way my business is run to meet health board requirements but it is running smoothly now and our revenues are steady.

there was a letter read sunday at our meeting that mentioned some parts of us are starting to open back up.
however, regardless of things opening up that no kingdom halls should be used for any meetings of any kind.
also, no door-to-door ministry or any form of in-person ministry is allowed.

a hunch has just struck me.we get frequent accounts in the literature and videos of people whose dysfunctional lived have been turned around by studying with the jw's and coming to belief in the org (sorry, jehovah).
evangelical type christian groups also use similar testimony stories.here's the hunch:the purpose of these is quite different among jw's compared to other religions.other groups use these testimonies primarily to persuade non-believers.the jw's use them to reinforce the beliefs of those already in the "truth.

These stories (experiences) are not unique to Jehovah’s witnesses. They are used as a motivational tool by salesman to make their targets(prospects) feel bad about themselves and purchase the product they are pitching. Same thing in big companies this division is doing blah blah profit and you need to work harder. It’s all unverifiable bullshit that keeps manipulative pricks at the top of the heap and us trusting suckers at the bottom.
i think it’s time for business to reopen and let’s get the economy going again!

Business can reopen but with restrictions that will increase their costs. Can joe public afford the extra costs?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the letter was real. Imagine the liafuckingbility if a covid positive jw was going door to door spreading the good virus.

The price of food will rise. Food banks are already stretched thin. People forced out of their jobs don’t have money. Farmers will have a hard time planting and harvesting their crops this year due to travel restrictions on labor and are unable to source supplies they need. If people aren’t allowed to get back to work this will get ugly.

If the economy remains closed more people will die from suicide and starvation than Coronavirus would ever kill.
co is coming and expecting to zoom it in july.
also there is no talk about starting to slowly go back to the hall.
like having 1 group at the hall and the rest on zoom, etc.
I don’t think gatherings over 10 people will be allowed for at least a year.
