  i found this interesting perspective on reddit.. post;.

  i remember the moment the first real crack in my faith happened as a jehovah's witness.

  i was sitting in the kingdom hall during the watchtower study where, as is common, the article was talking about how the israelites as a nation abandoned jehovah.. "but wait," i thought, "having a nation represent him here on earth was part of his plan.

  What would happen if the Watchtower decided no more meeting at Kingdom Halls, only Zoom?

  i’m seeing my hard core believing relatives slowly losing faith that the watchtower is the organization that “god” is using to represent him on earth.. just about all the churches in their area have opened up.. but not the watchtower.. this is having an affect on the faith of even the old timers.

  now the only ones who are still holding the faith are the female jws and only those past 70 years of age.

  even my old male jw relative past 70 are starting to say that it can’t be jehovah’s organization because the other churches are all open and god supposed organization who is supposed to preach the warning message is still closed with no open in sight.

  I heard from an elder they got direction from the branch to clean the Kingdom Hall. The elder assumed it’s that they are going back. Maybe it’s going for sale.

  "Young people ask" book claims 97% youth masturbatory or seen porn...not J.W youth??

  as a youg man this stunned me when i studied the original "youth" book 97% had done it so i thought soo that's pretty much everyone i guess the 3% were witness youth!

  also "awake" claimed 90% of students had accessed porn at some time.

  everyone is doing it i guess 10% are the witness youth...how dumb was i?.

  We had a circuit overseer that was obsessed with porn. He would bring it up at elders/ministerial servant meetings every visit. I think he had a secret sin and was projecting.

  Strong female characters in film before the 'Woke Era'

  since about 2015, hollywood has congratulated itself and circle-jerked over the 'strong women' characters they've written.

  i'd say this roughly began with rey in the force awakens (2015).

  what hollywood forgets is that strong characters have to have a personality, otherwise audiences don't really relate to them.. well, hollywood should really stop patting themselves on the back as if they've done something special.. strong female characters have been a staple for decades.. here's one: private vasquez, from aliens (1986).

  Letter asking for RV’s

  hello, my elder cousin from brazil wouldn’t believe they asked for rv’s here in the us.

  i’ve been out for 20 years and i’m soft shunned by my family.

  now my mom got sick and they are all trying to talk me into going back(no way on earth) and they keep on telling me how close armageddon is 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ i was watching kim and mikey and they mentioned the rv’s for lodging the ramapo workers.

  They will use those buildings after Armageddon silly rabbit. The governing body are the biggest bullshitters on the planet and 8 million suckers believe it all.

  If you own the type of rv they are looking for(expensive), you were probably labelled materialistic by someone at some time. However, when they need what you have you are showing appreciation for spiritual things by donating your previously materialistic 5th wheel trailer.

  Go Bag and Catastrophes

  i live with my parents in law and yesterday, my mother in-law was very nervous about an email she got from the brothers in her congregation.

  it was asking if she would be able to receive people over at our house should there be a catastrophe.

  so, she asked me if i would agree with this.

  It seems to me that the witnesses have always hyped up how great they do in disaster relief. They seem to like bragging how Jehovah likes scamming insurance companies out of their money. Get the labour for free then pressure the jw homeowner to donate the insurance money to the org.
