We had an elder who gave that talk in the circuit. Eventually all of his kids left the religion.

2 think how heartbroken jehovah must have been when members of his own angelic family turned their back on him!
(jude 6) and imagine how hurt he was at seeing his beloved people, the israelites, rebel against him time and again.

how many of you had panic attacks when you were a jw and when leaving?
i know of many jw women and a few men who suffered badly with panic attacks.
since recently having another spate of panic attacks i suddenly realised that i had been having them all my life.
As kids in the early 1970s we had it drilled in our heads that the authorities would ban Jehovah’s witnesses and take us or our parents away. I’d get nervous when the cops were patrolling our neighborhood. Talk about an effed up childhood.
my opinion is if possible fading is the best way to go..
If you are annoying enough to be around, they won’t mind if you stop attending. In fact they’ll be happy to see you leave.

After they run the father off the elders can hook up this 30 something single mother of 2 kids with 55 year old combover elder.
If any of you are wondering why many of us pretend to believe this is why. We don’t want to lose our families.

When a dfed person commits suicide it is truly tragic but unfortunately it plays into the watchtowers hands as they use it to show the final result of “Leaving Jehovah”.
Ive known my share of attempts and also completes. It is sad how this organization ruins lives.

Jehovah’s witnesses sure break up a lot of families.
after listening to the zoom meetings the past two weeks, i started to wonder, what is the real purpose for such short comments.
policy for 5 or more years now.
supposedly, it is so more can comment.
They also took away the ability to give talks on the ministry school that allowed research and coming up with a theme.
Yep it’s all about control
did you ever had a over zealous brother/sister with tales that where even told from the platform on how gee-hovah did things for this person at nausea.
just made you sick.
an insult to one's intelligence.
I love to pick apart the idea that “if our house sells Jehovah wants us to move”. If you want your house to sell lower the price or do some expensive upgrades and include them in the price. If you don’t want to sell your shack, place an astronomically high price tag on it.
What I find interesting about it all is how many jws do business with other jws. If someone well connected has a house/car for sale you’d be surprised to see how many jws jump in to buy, sometimes at a high price.
here is what a co said at the elders and ms meeting.
it goes to show that no matter how hard the governing body tries to instill fear of apostates, it's just not working on the young crowd of jws.. it's a new generations of born in jws--------and they don't buy this shit anymore.
it's really over for the watchtower.
Born ins are there for the social aspect. Most don’t believe enough to actually put forth much effort.
i realize that some activist exjws really don’t seem to be happy in life.
they finally got away from the organization and yet seem still negatively connected to it.
some exjws are always upset because of what the “truth “ did to their lives, which is understandable.
When one leaves or ceases to believe they go through a grieving process. It takes time to get over the loss and heal from the years of mental manipulation. I’m happier knowing ttatt
