I believe it’s the stress of the jw lifestyle that makes them unwell. I’m glad I’m mentally out and can see through the bullshit.
david splane starts off with, ''i thought we might reflect on jehovah's goodness and the way he's been guiding his people during the pandemic.''.
not once in his talk does he mention that jehovah would give all members a super immune system that would fight off the virus.
neither does he mention that jehovah would reduce positive covid-19 numbers, hospital admissions and covid-19 deaths of his people.. mr. splane: how does the almighty, all knowing jehovah guide his people during the pandemic?.

actually you can hear it from the governing body himself (jehovah's witnesses leaders) and visualise it with this video… .
welcome to jehovah's witness paradise!.

Tiny minded people need others devotion to them. They need to feel relevant so they create a problem and provide the solution. It’s like the car companies. Create a problem by designing a car that lasts just long enough until the warranty expires then provide the solution with selling a new car but convincing you to purchase extended warranty as it will cost a lot to fix if it breaks down.
Religion, business, social caste systems are all the same. They are meant to keep you in fear and in a lower position to take your resources and give them to non productive people at the top of the heap.
Tight pants Tony creates a problem and instills fear. You are going to roast like a hot dog at Armageddon. No one wants to roast alive until you are dead. I wouldn’t think that it’s a fun way to go. Then he provides the solution. This calamity won’t befall you if you only purchase the warranty with your time. Attend the meetings, donate your money and recruit new followers so they can do the same. That is the only way you will avoid being a hot dog. While you are squandering your time they are sitting in high end office chairs drinking high end liquor and flying first class.
How many vehicles and warranty periods has this religion been through?
1878?, 1914, 1925, 1942?, 1975, 2000. All broken down, failed promises with warranty that when you read the fine print doesn’t pay you a dime. And tony wants you to believe him this time?
a small incident happened to me today that has triggered me to say this.. how many of you have seen that jw are fairly hopeless and being anywhere on time.. an obvious one is the families that never miss a meeting and never miss arriving late with resultant fuss.
.
but in day to day things as well.arriving late for a paid job.. leaving early, ditto.. not turning up for a bbq without even a phone call.. being in all things disorganized.. and, how many of you have seen the above become the norm in people once they become jw that were not that way before....
WTWizard:
We found this to be the case as well. I never thought of it that way though. Keeping a person late in the ministry might have been a perverse way to get you to have more “time” or even get you to lose your job so that you could learn to “rely on Jehovah” more.
anyone ever seen this website?
it's clone of jw.org only from xjw point of view.
jehovah’s witnesses—official counter website: accessjw.org.
How long before that gets taken down.
It links up with the real jw site. I wonder if it was some secret apostate beth elite that made up the site.
the watchtower—study edition | february 2022. study article 6. do you trust in jehovah’s way of doing things?.
15 as the end of this system of things draws near, we need to trust in jehovah’s way of doing things as never before.
during the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical.
They want your money and your time. That will be the strange direction. Sell everything you have, give your money to “Jehovah” as there is this scripture here that says he owns it all anyway and you would be stealing from Jehovah if you wanted to keep it for yourself.
would someone in the know please clarify for me some alleged comments given from the governing body at the recent/yet to be streamed for the rank and file annual meeting?.
it is my understanding that samuel herd basically tells the rank and file that old light is new light and the new light of july, 2013 is now old light.
to be specific, herd states that the official stance on whether or not the annointed remaining on earth, to include the governing body, will all be in heaven prior to armageddon.. at this same annual meeting tony morris iii tells those in attendance that stephen letts' statement that "we're living in the final part of the last days, undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days!
To this day some in my family deny that the watchtower ever said anything about 1975 being the end. Others sold their houses and pioneered in a motor home until the money ran out and they were disgruntled and left “the truth”, but they just a an unthankful attitude and didn’t appreciate Jehovahs loving provisions.
i was in the cult for years about 40. fourth gen born in cult member or for me ex cult member.
i have seen so many cult members who don't seem to really care if the end is near or not.
they are much more concerned with the idea that this is their social network and they need and or want it just the way it is.

Some jws just don’t get it. There are some non jws that just don’t get it either to be fair. Somebody actually has to do the WORK.
One jw elder in our congregation was all upset that he lost his job. He went on and on about how his boss this and that. In reality it probably was his co workers that wanted him gone. In a workplace high performers eventually tire of subsidizing dead weight. This elder expected his regular vacation PLUS time off for conventions and his elder indoctrination schools. I’m fairly confident that one or more of his co workers were quite pissed at picking up the slack when this elder was away for “spiritual” reasons. He called it persecution. I call it entitlement.
I’ve been in those situations before as a subsidizer of workplace slackers. I’ve quit more than one job because I just got plain worn down doing other peoples work for them for no extra pay. Guaranteed one or more of his co workers quit or were going to quit so the boss took care of the root problem. By the way this elder recently sold his house to “simplify”.
the wt study for this week is all about disfellowshipping.
in an early paragraph it said "think how heartbroken jehovah must have been when members of his own angelic family turned their back on him!".
however when you think about it, when this happened according to the wt teaching, jehovah still engaged with satan in the heavens (book of job) and had conversations with him about what was going on in the earth.. so why do the wt org practice shunning when jehovah god obviously didn't?.
This article was just another part of the mind fu*k that keep jws in the cult. Yes, we care when our policies break up your family. It is sad to watch brothers and sisters comment about their loved ones who they fear will die at Jehovahs hand. This messes people up more and gets them in front of a jc. It’s like a circle.
the liberal idiots and useful fools who follow are going and going and going.
now they are trying to make masks permanent.
at some point people are going to revolt.
Sounds like Edmonton.

This is a picture of a man leaving his family. Happy JW marriages are a facade.
I’ve seen too many good men walk away because the wife, parents and in laws put way too much pressure on to “progress” in the organization. It is not about the young family, it is about their status in the organization.
One of my good friends left his wife. It was that or suicide, unfortunately. He was a good provider for the family, regular attender at the meetings and regular in the field ministry but it was never good enough for her or her parents. The pressure and nagging from his wife drove him over the edge. All of her family were elders, pioneers and she was unhappy that she wasn’t an elders wife. The irony was that her parents were supported partly by their wealthy non jw parents and the inheritance that they received. They couldn’t understand why my friend couldn’t both provide a materially comfortable life and the social status of being an elder. His parents weren’t well off.
The last time I talked with him he said he was finally happy. I really should look him up when I’m in his area. He is the bad guy where I live but when you’re looking down the barrel of a gun you have some tough life choices to make.
