  What They Tell a CO

  did it ever bother any of you that you and your family were talked about to the co during the elders meeting with him?

  and for those who have been elders, my question is: how much do they tell him?

  for some reason, it has always bothered me that this man, who is a complete stranger really, is informed of family or personal situations through the lense of elder's opinions.

  and when the CO leaves it's up to the local elders to do all the dirty work. He just gets to walk away.

  so looking at the worldwide report , the baptisms are down , many countries are 0 growth ,publishers, hours , and studies up because of changes in reporting methods .

  but just how long can the propping up of numbers happen for , before the real downward slide starts ?

  a year or two tops , which will be real close to 2014 .

  I like how they spin it to their advantage when lowering a requirment. Say the 15 minute publisher or lowering the hours for regular or aux pioneering. What a loving provision from Jehovah they all say.

  You have talent man. I can't tell you what tracks to put It's your cd, but here's some watchtower advice on marketing:

  ? The WatchtowerLibrary—1993Edition will soon be shipped to congregations. Commercial CD-ROMs costing from $25 to $50 or more contain a single encyclopedia or a few reference works. WatchtowerLibrary will access TheWatchtower back to 1950 and many other of the Society’s publications back to 1970.

  yea send us 25 to 50 bucks for something that costs $1.50 to make.

  The one I always had trouble with was "you have to work in harmony with your prayers for Jehovah to bless you" It's like God is powerless or something unless we work for it.

  another one I could never figure out is Matt 6:33 where it says put the kingdom first and all these other things(material needs) will be added to you. Its like how in the heck does the rest of the world survive? I mean they should be starving to death or something because they don't put jehovah first in their life,

  have you ever noticed that within the cong if your not a elder or ms you have no status.

  you may be educated, successful and respected by your worldly colleagues but that counts for nothing.

  any elder with the intellect of a flea who is incapable of having an intelligent conversation thinks he is a superior somebody 'cause he can parrot wt rhetoric.

  Why Are They Called Privileges?

  seems like work to me....... doing the microphones, manning the magazine counter, spending countless (sorry, counted) hours every month knocking on doors.. privileges?.

  It's something to put the pressure on the witnesses. The higher up privileges pioneering servant body

  they can control to a certain extent by threatening to take away your "privileges"

  unless you don't care then they can't control you at all

  recently there have been news reports of teenagers killing themselves because they couldn't take being bullied any longer.. i hate bullies.

  i would feel horrible if my grandkids ever got bullied.. have you ever put a bully in his or her place?.

  What if the bully is your boss, elder, eldress, or circuit overseer? hard for me to deal with adult bullying. It's more common than childhood bullying me thinks.

  Post 31 of 31 Since 8/22/2009	a long time ago someone on here stated that the brothers in the hall looked like porn stars with those thick mustaches. it does look weird. either a bro has a bald face or a thick mustache. Just how do they know what a porn star looks like?????
