97What silly rules did your congregation make up?
by weinermcgee inelders were famous for making up stupid rules with no bible base at all as an ego trip i guess, what were some of yours?
i am not talking about the stupid rules that we all had to follow, just the congregation specific silly ones.. 1. having to button your jacket while on stage (this was later changed due to all the elders having a beer gut).
2. suits only or no privledges.

Elder got df'ed
by XPeterX inhe had relationship with a female jw of the same congo.now that they are both df'ed they are gonna get married and then get reinstated.his ex-wife will have to see the new happy family 2 times every week at the meetings.sweet.

if a witness goes after a worldly woman the congregation goes out of their way to help the new couple and study with the younger woman and bring her in the "truth" all the while the innocent mate and family gets sidelined.

Paragraph 11 about the abusive employer stikes a raw nerve in me. I had a similar situation and the nicer I tried to be the more abusive she became.
Power tripping bosses will run over you if you allow it. You have to fight fire with fire in most of these cases.
