"Special" has lost its' special meaning

today is the day of the annual "special talk.

" it took me all of two years to realize not to get my hopes up for anything special.. then came the special assembly day.

Circuit visit elders meeting

first some context to this post.

historically the elders meeting with the circuit overseer has had the following format : outline for meeting including ministerial servants then, after they have been dismissed, discussion of local issues.

the last visit there was an additional outline for the elders only, the notorious "gender blurring" discussion.. you might wonder what is being discussed this time round, so here you are:.

I've heard some of the elders call the co by his last name only before or after his visit. A sign of disrespect in these parts.

Self-Driving vehicles and delivery robots - why?

i saw a 'news' article today about pizza hut (i think) delivering pizzas via a robotic vehicle in nz.

also another article headline saying it is not a question of if, but when.

my immediate thought was, why?

I've been told that driverless vehicles rely on the lane markings to know where they are. It doesn't work too well when the markings are covered with snow.

Self driving cars won't work in canada so I'm not too worried about it.

I know of a couple of cases like this. One girl was baptized at 12 and dfed at 14. She is now successfully faded.
Another man baptised at 11 or so. Dfed at 15. I think he is back in.

before i came to puerto rico, i gave my daughter a 2000 honda civic.

nice car, good on gas....a chick car😂.. she calls me today all nervous and tells me she traded it in...😨😨😨😨😨😨😨.. for a full size chevy truck..😀😀😀.
