i had a dream the other day of going to the meeting - did a checklist:.

songbook - check.

bible - check .

I think it will force digital too. At the convention this weekend there was an older couple in front of me that were visibly disturbed that the new release was only available for download and no physical copied available---ever

I can see the split between the hard core believers and the rest of us happening too. At the convention they mentioned it more than once that bad associations can be right among those in the congregation.

If the elders keep harassing you mention that a matter like this might be criminal in nature and that you will notify the police. Guaranteed the elders will back down.

Just a corporate downsizing they don't want to admit to.

The new releases at the regional convention are are electronic. They are not even issuing CDs.

Printed material is a dinosaur. The wt are just late to the party as usual.

No Reason For JWs To Go To The MIdweek Meeting (CLAM)

everything that is done at the midweek meeting can now be done at home.

the videos are online, the first talk is scripted, the bible highlights are scripted.

you could get the same experience by just reading and watching the material from your tablet.

I rarely go to the mid week meeting anymore. The new format is boring as hell and I work a lot of overtime

They did a good job of getting the audience all emotional and teary eyed with the video Hope for what we do not see.

Pretty much same old same old today though

dont marry out of "the truth"

don't work overtime

don't watch porn on your cell phone.

The speaker doing the shunning part made sure to pause before and after saying this includes inactive ones who haven't been through the judicial process.
