  I believe in patent and copyright law. People need to get paid for their work that we all benefit from. If you like listening to free music learn to write songs, play an instrument and pay $$$ for someone to record it or invest even more $$$ in a studio and enjoy your “free” music.

  The watchtower isn’t going after this for the money at least not directly. They give this shit away for nothing. However, if jws hear this song before the convention it takes away from the anticipation and they will be less inclined to donate $$$. So it really is all about the money.

  Umm. Russel came up with 1914 because someone measured how many inches some passages were in the pyramids. Then the numbers didn’t work so he said the inches were wrong so they made up pyramid inches as a measure. There were still enough suckers around to believe this bullshit.

  Rutherford/franz noor got into the 607 bullshit so that the times time and half a time would work out to the 1914 date. People still believed in it. I believed in it.

  a newspaper article quotes a jw as saying "every (letter) i put in the mailbox, i feel, 'ah, this could reach somebody.

  '" the article also quotes her as saying "we are accomplishing even more now than we were door-to-door because this way everybody in the house gets a chance to pick up that letter and respond to it.

  it just feels good.

  I think that the watchtower organization lies about a lot more than prophecy.

  It is part of their motivation program to publish higher than real numbers to try and make the individual publishers do more by shaming them. It obviously isn’t working that well as they need to keep doing it.

  Yes, by an asshole elder. I think the guy is a missionary now. After he left our hall and I started talking with some of the other publishers I wasn’t the only one.

  He was good at making us doubt ourselves to cover his tracks. Also good at falsely accusing people. No one shed a tear when he left.
