They are reactive and not proactive. They are arrogant and proud and can’t actually see how stupid and incompetent they really are. The blind are leading the blind. The governing body hasn’t thought that far ahead or even reflected on their past mistakes to even think about the consequences of these changes. In their deluded minds they don’t make mistakes.
This was coming but COVID made things happen a lot faster.
Think back over the past 30 years and the blunders that they committed by being so arrogant and inept.
1990ish. Because these entitled fuckers think they’re somehow above both secular and biblical(Jesus said to pay your taxes) laws they stopped charging for literature and the meals at the assemblies ( remember the food tickets for the hoagie and frozen pudding and orange juice) instead of registering for the gst and paying Caesar’s things to Caesar. They actually thought that the flat ass broke jws would donate enough to cover the cost of the FREE food and literature. They were able to dump giving away food after a short time but were stuck giving away magazines for 3 decades.
They demonized the internet while giving away FREE literature for at least 15 years. Finally someone woke up and thought “wait a minute” people can download their watchtower instead of us buying a bunch of paper and ink and shipping these magazines that nobody reads all over the country?
A lot of people liked the book study meeting because it was small and more laid back than the regular meeting so they axed it in favour of the TMS and no one attends.
This latest change of not reporting service time and you can still be saved after the great tribulation starts just dumbs down the whole thing a bit more.
The GB is like the mouse trying to stop a rolling freight train. They’re going to get run over.
The economy, people and society change and you can’t fight progress. Early adapters usually fare the best and luddites who refuse to change are left behind.

Real reasons behind this change?
by Gorb injust a good conversation at home about the hour report change.. we think the change was not impmemented because the gb are such a lovely bunch of old grandpa's having the best in mind for us individuals.. there will be only, and we say only, an organizational reason for it.
a legal reason, to protect jw.org and it's officials and wealth.. next step?
maybe selling more kh and when jw hollywood studio's in rampoo are ready a change to tv subscription.. what do you think?

You’re probably right. They just have to bring the changes slowly enough so that people keep donating. The governing body are lazy like everyone else on this planet. They want to keep their job easy enough so that the money keeps rolling in and to do that they need to trim expenses. -

Maybe they will lower pioneer hours to a number that most can attain. Let’s say 10 or 15. That way they can maintain a social caste system.
It will also affect family worship and born in baptisms. You don’t need to study with your kids each week to count your 4 hours. Other publishers won’t need to study with your teenage kid to get them to baptism if counting the hours don’t give them any social credits in the congregation
This is bigger than we think it is!

This tells me that many are using the excuse of they are not qualified to do menial tasks to get out of cleaning the Kingdom Hall.
They are just tired of being micromanaged and treated like literal children and having their time wasted.
Mrs Hoser did rbc and got shit on for exposing a structural error tha one of the higher up male elders made on a Kingdom Hall. After that anytime we’re asked to do something at the Kingdom Hall she said we’re not qualified

My most memorable was Wayne Johnson. He was so stuck up and made a whole bunch of rules for other to follow. A real ass. I heard he was later removed from his lofty DO throne. He served in Canada and particularly in Ontario
I remember him. I was too young to know what kind of a prick he really was but older people have filled me in.
Larry Erickson. He made grown men cry. One elder actually stepped down before Larry’s visit because he knew he was out (shift worker) and didn’t want to endure being bullied by Erickson.
Terry Attick. Manipulative prick. Obsessed with talking about the dangers porn with the elders and ministerial servants. I think he was viewing it secretly and projecting. That guy would interfere in everyone’s lives and broke up many boyfriend/ girlfriend couples. He belittled my wife and children to their faces. Not a pleasant person to be around. -

I see many Jehovahs witnesses that earn more than sufficient income but can’t manage their finances. They spend it as fast or faster than they earn it.
I think part of the problem is the “We’re in the last, last, last part of the final part of the last days” bullshit that the governing body spews from their pie holes. One thing of certainly is this: The governing body, circuit overseer, body of elders don’t give a shit about your financial future or retirement. What they care about is your meeting attendance, field service report and time that you donate to building kingdum hauls. It’s nothing to do with you but all about them.
