I lied to the elders

i stopped attending meetings all together in january 2015. before that my attendance was irregular at best.

my husband followed suit a few months ago after months of research, agony, and indecision on his part.

from the very beginning i laid low and did not share with anyone what i found out about the witnesses because i did not want to be df'd.

If the elders came to your door so eager for your admission, I wouldn't be surprised if they just go ahead an announce you df in absentia without your consent. It seems like sadly both sides of your family are trying to do just that.

Please prepare yourself for anything that may come out of this. Hopefully they just back off for good and let it ride.

I really like how u handled yourself. I know saying that is probably pulling on your heart strings since its your mom on the other side of the accusation but remember like everyone else has said YOU OWE THEM NOTHING.

Dont give them the pleasure of disfellowshipping you with ease. You are bothering nobody they are bothering YOU.

awhile back someone posted a pic of the rank/ order of command within the org.

it started with a picture of earth and god sitting on his throne, then the gb body members sitting at there table, then the elders underneath them and then the r&f and so forth.. no mention of jesus in that photo.

could someone familiar with the article that it came out of provide me with the reference please?.

everytime i try to search the word "scapegoat" on the forum i get a "server error".

Is this like a forbidden word or something? I can type in "scapegoats" and it goes through just fine but if I try it in the singular no matter what browser im using the same issue occurs everytime.

Any insight you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gas Pump "Witnessing"....Is this a thing?

i've seen this twice now within a month.

a car group hanging out at a gas station.

one of the cult members jumps outs of their car and runs up to a "worldly" gas pumper, arm stretched out, tract in hand, and here comes the juvenile at best question.

Oh yea when I was a jw we used to do that form of preaching all the time. Gas station witnessing was a given everyday to start off our time in the mornings. Most would tell us to F##k off.

The strategy was to try to catch em while they were pumping gas so they couldn't run off easy. A few gas stations even banned the jws from soliciting there as people would start to complain. Its a very common practice where im from

No more reporting time for field service!!!

so at last i am in my next step of my fade, this month is the first month i did not turned in any hours.

i received a text from our group leader an ms & i told him i didn't have any to report, then of course it got bumped up to the elder & i text him back i have no hours to report for december.

i came to this decision when reading many posters here about the yearbook stats, i do not want & refused to contribute to this organization "boosting" numbers for their glorious purposes, after the rc in australia they do not deserve for me to give them a "production" report of what i do for god, no more.

Thats how it begins. By your second month of no reporting they will begin trying to arrange a shepherding call then the surprise pop in visits and love bombing from fellow jws will come. Give it time.. you'll see soon

i was having dinner at olive garden with my cousin who was disfellowshipped for apostacy.

a holier than thou pioneer couple saw us.

if that was not enough i saw her take a picture of me with my cousin.
