  Don't tell my kids about flipping DEMONS!

  my mother and mother in law are both jws and are starting to resepct my position to leave.. that being said, i'm not sure how to be strong but loving about my position about even mentioning "demons" to my kids when they get older (i have a 5 month old).. i mean there is enough stuff in this world that is designed to be scary and that's fine... until someone my kids respect tell them that it's all actually real.. ugggghhhh.. -sab.

  When my parents were still JWs, I didn't allow any unsupervised visits. Problem solved.

  If I hear one peep about the "wicked spirit forces" I will probably do the same thing.

  I am very protective over my son when it comes to superstisions that lead to fear and ultimately availability for control.

  I too feel that the District Convention releasing the " generation overlap " theory is driving more and more people out of the organization .

  Or at least sowing a seed that eventually will lead them out.

  The terror that comes from the "true reality of the Demonic Angelic Rebellion" is actually the SOLE REASON, IMO, that such destructive cliques within the organization exist. They attribute way too much power to these forces and will seriously error on the side of caution when anything is "suspiciously demonic"

  I literally JUST lost my older brother because he found out I was posting on this site. So I really feel for you since I love him and care about our relationship.

  I would venture to guess that leaving this Organization, as a born-in, is the hardest thing you'll ever have to do...

  But think on the bright side, you've have the hardest thing you ever had to do behind you and it will help you cope with anything in your future life. Good luck and hope to see your posts start coming on now that you have an account :)
