Many Witnesses disobey the GB's rules about shunning their family, but they have to keep it under wraps. I find it dumbfounding that someone would ever believe that shunning family isn't a JW practice... jeez!

It's sad that some tolerate religious intolerance... but such is life. Intolerance is all around us, I for one mark it as my number one enemy and will fight against it, in any form, until the day I die.

Does this mean that, according to the Bible, NO ONE should ever proclaim Christs return?

Does a JW know how to preach with out slandering other religions?
by Little Imp inone of the first things i noticed when attending a kh is how the person on the platform always resorted to slandering other religions during his talk.
it reminds me so much of a party political broadcast just before an election.
as soon as the candidate starts slandering the opposing party i just switch off.. i am not interested in what everyone else is doing wrong i want to know what they are going to that's right.

Can Someone teach me how to put youtube videos on here?
by Voices ini keep wanting to share youtube videos that are really good, but i can't seem to figure out how to do it...i tried pasting the link...i tried 'embedding' ...and it doesn't work...what am i doing wrong?
can someone teach me?.

Voices, what you have to do is paste the youtube link into the textarea like normal but it has to be an ACTUAL link. So once you paste the text url into the post area highlight it and click the "Link" button and a window will popup with where you want the link to go. Then post the SAME text url into that field and click OK. Now the Youtube link will be an actual link and when it's posted the forum software will replace it with an actual video.
