I am no good at lying. I can't be around the congregation until I pull myself together a little.
Is there anyone in your life currently that you could trust with your feelings? Possibly a non-witness?

i am currently just sick with grief.
i can't believe this is happening to me.
all the jokes i've made about me never "falling out of the truth" and self confidence about my spirituality.

It sounds like you have helped others see the light while still working within their belief system. That is a feat and I commend you for it!
Don't go to the elders, you will just get more guilt. This is a great place, use it you will find relief and enlightenment.

luke 17: 26-35: 26"just as it was in the days of noah, so also will it be in the days of the son of man.
27people were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day noah entered the ark.
then the flood came and destroyed them all.. 28"it was the same in the days of lot.
Moreover, would you make it so cryptic and so difficult to understand that millions of people would slaughter millions of people over what it actually means?
I don't think difficult is the right word to use here. Difficulty implies a challenge and all Christains want to take that "challenge." The word impossible is more apt.
The Bible doesn't give us the crimes of the men of the Flood and just refers to them as apathedic and evil. Therefore it is impossible to decipher what their crimes were.
Many logical impossibilities are in the Bible and require "common sense" to bridge the gaps.
Problem is common sense is subjective among cultures and lifestyles.
Prognosis: Never take the Bible as inerrant or infallible or you will repeat history (which is well documented).

i gets me almost into a frezy when witnesses use this asinine argument.. if jws were ever the reason for bloodless surgery reasearch it was because doctors were tired of having to let you guys die.
they found a way to keep your asses alive even with your ridiculous superstitions!
you should thank the doctors of this world for having such love and compassion.... -sab.
There are now throughout the nation plenty of doctors and institutions that offer all sorts of surgeries and treatments just as effective without the use of blood. Surely a blessing to JWs and many others that object to the use of blood.
Except when a treatment requires blood, or in the case of emergency.

i was abused by my father growing up.
physically and emotionally.. as a entered my adult life i had next to no self esteem, in part because he didn't really attempt to help me get some because i didn't chose the career path that he dreamed for me.. 2 years ago i forgave him.
i let go of the anger that i had for him because i knew that when it was all said and done, he did what he did and i believe that he did his best.
Jehovah's Witnesses have been coming to my house and spending time with my wife.
Research is your friend. Don't make the mistake many of this forum made.
DO NOT TAKE THE JW'S WORD IT!
Research every claim they make.

It was the point behind most of Jesus teachinngs and sayings.
Why are so many "not getting the point"?

I can't forgive the organization or the men that lead it.
Can't or wont?
Two very different things.

the Jews were opressed by the Romans and seeking a savior figure during the century+ long revolt against the Roman empire.
Cheers!
It's VERY important to take the Bible in it's HISTORICAL context.

Just be a good person, live a good life, take care of that son and don't worry about it.
That's the ultimate punchline, but the path to that realization is long and arduous.
