Yeah I always thought that was uncalled for on gods part. The guy was trying to do some good, but the high and mighty arsehole kills him dead on the spot. Loving my arse. Our last meeting was the 2010 memorial. Ha. Reading all the stuff on here its such a sad arse religion.

i listened to her introduction and held the memorial tract, then i handed it back and said quite firmly that i was not interested.
We have had a few invites these last few days, by well meaning freinds and my mum. But theres no way in hell we r going to that waste of a good evening. Last years Memorial was our last meeting. hehe.

Here's a small story for you guy's. This last few weeks in our travels about town down here in Melbourne Aust.
We have encountered pioneers a few times. 1st was a older sister sitting in an camping chair next to a hifi store in the sub of Dandenong, she just sat there holding the mags not saying a word. We walking past her twice looked at her and nothing, not a peep from here. No eye contact from her at all.
She just was staring out into space. I thought she was retarded before i saw the WT in her hand. Thats how bad she looked to onlockers who pasted by. And the want people to flock to this Organization/Religion. She was probably counting hours all day sitting there doing nothing. Idiots the lot of them.
The next encounter was in the Melb CBD, well we have seen them here a few times as the set up on a corner near our fav thai resturant. there is 2 or 3 pioneers the set up a little stand on the corner of Swanston & lt Burke st, I think its for the asian students as its unistudent city around there.
We have never seen them talking to anyone when we have past them, they are just standing around chatting to each other and the like, counting time. The funny thing i know there faces seen them at conventions in the past. hehe.
Anyway thats my Rant.

After reading everyone's comments I have to say, I have seen and expericanced most of the things said.
I was lucky and got married to the best girl ever when I was 28. We are still togeather and are fading from this sick demented religon.
Looking back over my life and what i have seen and gone though in the JW's it can make one angry at all the shit one sees happening around you.

My stupid sister is in this same postion of not finding a mate! Now she is getting way to old so, probably going to be an old spinster. As there cure all the NEW SYSTEM is not going to come and fix it all up. POOR SODS.
I know a few JW's who are in this same sad boat. Poor bastards dont even know there own fate of growing old and lonely and pennieless in this world. Stuck in this blood sucking cult waiting on a fairytail to come and fix it all for them.

(a little background info before i ask my question...).
my sister-in-law (non-jw), who manages a popular chain restaurant near a kingdom hall, just found out that my wife and i have recently faded, so she decided to get something off her chest the other day... you guessed it: she wanted us to know that jws are the worst customers ever!
she then told us some really embarrassing stories about how jws would request a table for 15 to 20 people (after a sunday meeting) and then (when the bill came) some of the jws would start deliberating amongst themselves on whether or not the waiter was diligent or not (to justify the low tip he was getting anyway).
Here in down in Aust. In my experience, when i was in, well for 25 or so years. JW's are a bunch of tight arse's.
The wife and I stopped go out with brothers to dinners and such because everytime after adding up the bill it was short. some one in the party was trying to get out of paying. Most of the time we would make op the short fall. In the end we just got sick of it. and stopped going out with these sumbags.
My sister was one of the worst. OMG she shits me. Just like what Outlaw said. She got out of paying for here meal and or coffee's when with the money we put in which was more than we needed to came to the bill total before she added her food.
Hence we never go out with these people anymore. Well now we have faded it will not happen again ever..
