Homeless Man Plays Piano Beautifully (Sarasota, FL) (ORIGINAL)" Is it wrong to donate money to him? Would the Watchtower help out?

Jehovah's Witnesses have learned by the mistakes of all the Christian churches who wasted valuable money by spending it on "Food Banks", "Woman's Shelters", "Orphanages" and "Homeless Shelters feeding the poor and hungry kids". The current May 2015 "Awake" Magazine deals with the only way to help the homeless people. Every story you will find out deals with people who did not want to work, most were using all their money on drugs or alcoholic drinks. As a Jehovah's Witness of 50 years we have never succumbed to the sneaky tactics employed by these street-urchins who take money from people who can handle reality. It's said "Drugs are for people who can't handle Reality", as a Jehovah's Witness who deals with Reality on a daily basis, I can't handle drugs my friends! Avoid making eye contact with any homeless person or they will follow you home like a stray dog! Please don't feed or give anyone handouts, that's what Christian churches do or some Government Program! Stop the spread of homeless and get them copies of the Awake magazine that will inform you of their sinister plot of stealing your hard earned money, that's why Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Organization refuse to provide any support to all these homeless Trolls!" http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/g201505/ -

Is the Org Putting Elders in the Firing Line?
by The Searcher inin view of the conti verdict of negligence by the org, are elders who are selected by the c.o.
now in a precarious position?
"charity trustees face potential liabilities in a number of ways.

Searcher, we had an elder who was a lawyer back from 1990 to 2005 until he decided to leave the Truth. Brother AA (applicant attorney) said this was happening back before this organization was trying to protect itself and shift all the burdens of liability onto the local Kingdom Halls. Rightly he predicted they would use methods to even protect the local congregation's monetary assets and make the local elders responsible for all negligence, guess he was correct because everything he said came forward in the Conti trial. The Watchtower's defense attorneys did their best to show the Parent Corporation was free of negligence and if anyone was responsible, it was local Rogues not obeying their instruction.
Now in reality are the Elders allowed to make decisions on their own or must they follow the Watchtower's way or go the Highway when they disobey the Organization. If I was a juror, I would hope the Plaintiff could argue and prove this key point, we (as elders) were never allow autonomy yet the Watchtower is trying to claim we have our own set of rules locally and are are allowed to follow our own guidance when issues involving uncommon problems.
Adding this, we had money set aside to fix a parking-lot, martial cost is $70,000 and the stupid elders sent that cash to the Watchtower Society thinking we could use some patch materials instead of repairing the asphalt driveway correctly. The funds we had were there and now after two years of sending in requests the same replies come back "Dear Brothers, have you carefully prayed to Jehovah and asked your Hall to take up a collection to cover the expenses your requesting?" They took our bank accounts and now they want us to ask the Friends who already donated funds for the project again, we can't get that money back and all we get are games when asked for those funds. The stupid zealous brain dead Elders did not think this through, the publishers with sway, they are not going to donate because they feel the elders betrayed them by sending the Watchtower all the funds set aside for our own Kingdom Hall!

Proof - of what?
by Doltologist ina few weeks ago, these two jovies turned up on my doorstep.
being in a good mood that particular day, i told them that if they could prove that god existed, i'd become a jovie - and i meant every word.. they gave me two documents which they asked me read and told me that they'd be back in a week.
the first was called "was life created?

Dawkins has stated at what percentage he is an agnostic, watch his videos showing he admits he can't prove God does not exist and uses "Russell's Teapot" analogy of being highly unlikely but you can't prove it does not exist". He give himself a 6.5 out 7.00 certainty level he does not think God does not exist but can't get completely there because he confesses that would "require you to know all the information in the Universe and our friends in the Philosophy Schools would hammer me for saying I had reached this level of awareness."
Why is it we are like JWs in that we welcome all the negative stories about the JWs when they do thing wrong but when you think one of the people you hold dear to you says something you don't agree with, the "newspaper is not a good source"? There are different videos with Richard expounding on this topic, at first he was short and sweet back in 2012, his answers to this question in 2015 are adding the "We can't know all the information in the Universe" answer with a more mellow touch than his original "Russells Teapot analogy.

Telemetry, I thought you might enjoy this discussion with someone who actually understand highly advanced chemistry and not four or five classes (Organic Chemistry probably was the height unless we see a transcript proving higher, that's where I tapped out). Continue reading the argument between someone who clearly does not understand the roles of the Organic Chemistry doctor he's arguing with.

"Except that Dawkins said exactly that – even down to the "6.9 out of seven" description of his level of surety that there is no God – ages ago. Early on in what is (in my view unjustly) his most famous work, The God Delusion, he points out that no one can have total certainty that God does or does not exist. For that matter, you can't have total certainty that tables, Volkswagens, Adrian Chiles or Bridport exist. You can't, as the philosophers have it, prove that you're not a brain in a jar. But we don't go around in a state of metaphysical doubt about these things; let's face it, we're all pretty happy to assume that the thing we eat our dinner off is really there."
The problem appears that rational thinkers like Richard Dawkins get paid to know their facts, they understand the implications stating "I can prove God does not exist through reductionist arguments", he know's those positions that are easily jumped aboard while remaining unchallenged, if it's so easy how come the he's not an atheist? Why is Dawkins a Agnostic instead of a atheist who has pretty much proved God does not exist? Dawkins explains that people who try to get around this question are not worth debating, his video attacking the atheists that claim they found ways around the problem assured me that they too who make bold claims are just like the Watchtower followers because they can't fullfill the Philosophical fence post hurdle that allows atheism to be considered factual are Dawkins would alter his view in a heartbeat!
In 2014 Dawkins once again make's the assertion "You can't disprove God exists" so besides pleasing Cofty, you need to help adjust Richard Dawkins final percentage that's holding him back from being a full blown atheist, how will you bring Dr. Dawkins in to your group that's absolutely certain God does not exist?

Cofty and Dotologist, how were you able to bypass Richard Dawkins position on God, he's not as intelligent as you if he said he is an agnostic. What secrets can you offer Dr. Dawkins to stop accepting what he say's is factual "you can't disprove the existence of God" as recent as 2014 he's upheld this position. What could you offer him so he can finally cross off all the possibilities or make it below 1% God exist's because Dawkins has not hit your intellectual levels.
With Cofty, there are many lost gospels still believed to be found some day(different teaching on various topics) as mentioned in some of the Early Father's Writings, how did you become familiar with gospels and teachings that have been lost and still waiting to be found? If you are aware of all of them, this must mean you have insight in to everything, just like you both passed Dawkin's by jumping ahead of him in line.

a short video with proof from the bible that the ones going to "heaven" are not meant to stay there forever, but just to meet jesus there (at the rapture) and be with him forever, on earth, not in heaven!.

Dr. Bart Erhman on his blog had some surprising but not unknown ideas what the First few century Church Fathers believed in. Papias enjoyed hearing from anyone who has connected or was part of a second gen person who knew what Jesus and his Apostles were teaching while on Earth. Eusebious did not agree with Papias, as for me, all I can do is look for the Master until he arrives and than we will know. Keep busy preaching his name through his conduct, helping your fellow man, helping those in need and baptizing them as taught by the Lord's Son.
Papias was under the impression we were going to live on a New Earth and that's what he claimed the elders and other holy men heard from the Source. Check out Erhman's Blog or look up the information yourself, makes the struggle to seek out truth even harder, its a lifelong quest as Jesus Christ stated!

Why did the United States attack Iraq over their invasion of Kuwait, why involve themselves in Kuwait when other countries were not given the same support Kuwait had? In Iraq's view, they were reclaiming something the West took away, the Russians made their move on Crimea knowing they too needed to act less have Western Missiles n the backyard? .Someone made a very excellent comment how YHWH cleaned the land from morally repugnant nations, they had earned elimination if they chose to fight for the land. The Nazis were bad, just as bad as those nations in the past so why would JWs think they had no right to defend the Western Christian lands from Evil like Nazis?
This ISIS situation is going to bring out more people attacking innocent citizens because they feel their countries are nothing more than a natural resource grab by the Super Powers of the World bucking horns there, USA vs China and you see after China had secured Oil Rights that's when moves were made to punish their dictator. The same with Libya, all confusion keeping people's minds tumutous as ISIS looks for a foot-hold in areas where people have more value on life, that's what ISIS is looking for, they want fear instilled in various regions because their not afraid to die for their cause.
Satan must enjoy having men and women willing to practice the ancient Assyrian practices of putting heads on a spike and skinning people alive. Would you allow Jehovah to remove all of ISIS from Earth or do personal and moral based ethics prevent you from allow YHWH from eliminating all of ISIS?

Remember Going Out In Field Service Before Thursday and Friday's Heat-Stroke Convention at Dodger Stadium?
by The1975Blues ini don't think the kids will remember going out in field service at your convention's city location helping the fiends do their territory.
on top of the horrendous heat-stroke sitting at dodger stadium we had to preach earlier in the week!
i heard some elderly witnesses speaking about "those were the good old days they thought" the grand old time they had while visiting the city of los angeles!

During the 1960s-1970s the Watchtower rented a sports stadium for District Convention (Regional Conventions), the seats were hard as a rock(Plastic or steel soft seats that made your butt hurt bad!). They had a pretty decent baseball team when I was a kid. You could take showers in the Dodger's locker room and walk through the arena because we had full access and the witnesses were trusted, one quality we did display or you got removed pretty quick if you stayed overnight i the parking-lot. I won't deny we did get access to Yankee and other Stadiums of fame, because the Witness did not ruin those convention centers, we had full roam, a quality you won't find now!
You had to be there, playing hide-and-seek as a seven year old kid with others (mom taught us about sex perverts and dad was a gun junkie, we had no fear of sex perverts because dad would have killed them and people who knew dad knew that fact as well!). We did have a few good times at night, running around the stadium, goofing off and campfires with fellow friends, like you have a the Apostafest in Tahoe!

When do you plan on helping me with battered children or cooking meals for the homeless? I would love to have you join us on Friday as we shop at the Food Bank and get all the goods ready to feed them. After that you might enjoy helping us at the Women's Shelter or if that troubles you there are programs for kids needing support because their parents beat the hell out of them.
Which values were you talking about, the one's that tell you to "live like there's nobody else but Jehovah's Witnesses on planet Earth(those don't help witnesses because JWs don't even donate enough cash to keep their congregations going as reported by the Governing Body now!)" or "Shun or Mark anyone you think has committed a sin against the rules and regulations, non-biblical rules you adhere to? Next, don't help the poor because "Jesus said you will always have the poor but you won't have Christ's Brothers to serve, stay on target and don't get distracted with the World and all its problems, your job is to hand out LifeSaving Tracts" that distort the Bible and give glory to mankind while systematically siphoning out anything good to say about my lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
