Jehovah correcting the organization
by sabastious inread the account of moses taking the credit for the water provision miracle and that of king david's folly and his consequences.. ...read them.... ...you are still reading.... ...ok now you have that fresh in your mind.. jehovah had a correctional arrangement in place for all his spokesmen.
story of jonah would work great too.
the point being that in the bible god has always had this correctional arrangement for the leaders of his earthly organization.. that being said, where did that arrangement go?

this is not very scientific......does anyone believe this is how languages got started???

thousands and thousands of years ago, how in the hell did they manage to pull something like that off?!
extremely basic engineering skills. When you look at the pyramids as a whole, they are massive, but when you look at them a stone at a time you can see how. And you can see the evolution of the pyramids where they got better...

Jehovah's Organization: Is It the KINGDOM of Daniel 2?
by Cold Steel indaniel interprets a dream in which he explains there will be four world empires -- the babylonians, the persians, the greeks (under alexander) and the romans, the last of which are symbolized by the belly and legs (eastern and western).
after that, he saw that the roman empire would fragment and ultimately become ten kingdoms, being partly iron and partly clay.
it was during these "kings" that "the god of heaven [shall] set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

And in ch. 2, the "first kingdom" is explicitly named as "you", i.e. Nebuchadnezzar or the kingdom of Babylon.
Exactly. Later editions. No one named Daniel put that in the bible with prior knowledge :)

Well, and what's the grain? That people were building a tower? that a jackass named nimrod was in charge? that different languages developed?

Man was told to 'spread throughout the earth'. They tried to stay in that one spot and not move, that is my understanding of why the languages were confused.
There is nothing scriptural to support that.
God has a time set for things to happen, so could be man was so quickly advancing, he did that as well to knock them back a few thousand years.
Congratulations, you just re-invented the much-older-than-the-bible Sumerian creation tale and the gods interaction with man...

Knowledge of Good and Evil
by cameo-d inin 1 kings 3:9, solomon asks for wisdom to discern between good and evil.
in verse 10 we are told this request was pleasing to god that solomon had asked for this instead of riches.. wth?
adam and eve got kicked out of the garden for wanting that same knowledge!.

the whip cream, I mean, not the cobbler. and that's not a dirty joke. homemade whip cream for desserts takes like, 5 minutes to make and is 100 times better

NVL - I hesitate to ask you :) and I know I've had this discussion before, though not with you - but what lie?
Oh you know you can ask me anything. I'm sweeter than a peach cobbler with homemade whip cream (which I make on a regular basis).
(Genesis 2:17) . . .But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”
They didn't die that day. They did not died in that day. They died hundred of year later accoding to the bible. You could make the thousand years or the "they began to die that die" argument, but they were never promised eternal life or a thousand year life and the bible never says they would begin to die that day. Taken at it's word, god lied. the serpent was right.

Well, Daniel never names those empires/ntions/governments....so any labeling of them as part of the prophecy is purely an after fact man-made layer on.
