i have been watching the discovery channel's, 'into the universe with stephen hawking' and it occurred to me that professor hawking knows more about heaven (which is just part of entire universe) than jesus did.
maybe jesus knew about black holes, alien life, other worlds, the origin of the universe, etc.
jesus could have told us something so remarkable about our universe that it would have taken us 2000 years to confirm jesus' divine knowledge and prove he was the son of g-d, but he instead decided to tell us that heaven "has many rooms"- whoop-dee-doo.. i don't think jesus had a clue that there was anything out the in the physical universe beyond what he could see with his own eyes.

Basically, I was asking the same question you did. Why should this generation deserve proof over any other generation? There is nothing about us that makes us any more or less special than any generation that came before.
As for what generation this generation is: I consider generation to be every living person today.

Let's not forget that Augustine Hippo was, 1500 years ago, postulating many of the things that quantum physists are doing today and have done in the past.
Things like time-space continums, existence outside of temproal time and such.

Well, historians like Josephus and a few others, 2 roman and a greek one, I forget their names, wrote about Jesus and that he was condemed and what he was accused of, but no, there is no "independant, 3rd party" writings about his miracles, other than those.
One of Josephus references was fake (added later) and the Roman one merely references the followers of Christus.
So, no.

our family is happier than ever with low stress.. her: i feel sorry for them.

So very true, NVL, but I was referring to calamities as opposed to disasters.
I am asking sincerly (I suppose I have to clarify that now), what do you mean by differentiating a calamity from a disaster?
does anyone know where is it where the society is referencing how if you were to find your religon wasn't being truthful would you trust them with other beliefs?
of course they were reffering to other religions..i cannot recall where that is..anyone remember??.

i had a very vivid dream last night that i would like to share it with you.

i believe that dreams are used by subconscious mind to communicate with the conscious mind, so im sure that this dream has a meaning.
Chickpeas....clearly the dream means that you were mentally held captive by the whole state of the chickpea. The hippo represents grinding the chickpeas into a delicious hummus.
