my lord spoke to me for the first time yesterday and this morning he told me to post my experience.. i know there are going to be ones who will call me names and thats ok. i will accept whatever you feel you need to say.. here goes.

i heard a voice calling ''my child'', this happened while at the zoo so i was taken off guard!

But then, you must also think the same of me and PSac? I also don't believe that the bible is God's Word, but that Christ is.

I like and respect all of you. I disagree with you, but I respect all you, Shelby included. Note that comment was not disrespect or dislike in any way. PSac, well, he offered to go with me for adult entertainment, so accord the Man Rules, section 1, paragraph 1, rule 1, he gets a pass (kidding (or am i?) mostly)

Yet, I can discern between truth and lie/or misunderstanding by testing everything against what Jesus (The Word of God) is recorded to have said and taught - since HE is the reflection of God.

I don't agree, but I respect that position.

I believe you, NVL, and I think you are an honest person who truly enjoys debate for its sake alone. (as well as for learning) You can be quite blunt sometimes, though, and that can be misinterpreted. I certainly misinterpreted it the first time I 'debated' with you :)

Very true. One of my big faults is that I tend to be very direct online in a public forum and that can come across as caustic when that's not the intent at all. You've talked to me on the phone and been sneaky with me off of a public forum, you probably have a better idea of what I am really like.

She then quotes it when it suits her.

I heard it for the first time from Shelby.

Understand I had the greatest respect for shelby. I also thoroughly enjoy debating her. I would be sad if she were no longer here. there is no malice at all when i talk to or about her.

Jaheshua is Jesus in Hebrew ( one of the ways of spelling/writing Jesus in Hebrew).

Can you throw me a cite? I can't find a single reference that supports that spelling.

Mischajah means "son of Jah (God's name)" I think.

The closest I could find is Yeshua Hamashiach. Do you have a reference for this as well?

when Shelby (Aguest) talks about something that isn't in the bible, most don't believe her because she's 'pulling it out of the air'

To be fair, Shelby often contradicts the bible and then said god told her those parts of the bible are wrong. And then she later will use that same part to prove some other point she wants to make.

When Watersprout speaks of something that is confirmed in the bible, now its BS because its nothing new.

I think he is calling BS on that Jesus or God would take the effort to repeat just a basic and well known foundation of Christianity, especially if someone already was a devout christian. Not only is it not new, it's part of the foundation.

Where did this name "JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH" come from? I did a google on it and surprisingly, 75% of the references point backto JWN and most of those references by Shelby.

I consider it to be condescending and it smacks of the "White Man's burden" attitude of that time.

Yeah, I always thought the watchtower Jesus was 'kinda dark' dark features, etc.

That's funny. For a middle eastern jew from 2000 years ago I always thought he was way to tall, light and Northern European looking.

No. This was not a draw. It wasn't a fight or a competition where one side wins or loses.

I think those who know what you know and so think like you do will understand and identify with what you're saying... while those who know what I know... and so think like I do... will understand and identify with what I'm saying.

Yes and no. Those that speak science and math have specific terms to avoid confusion and to speak precisely and accurately. People that speak in theological terms often can't even agree on what they are talking about. For example, look at the thread on Langston Hughes where you said his experience was wrong because it did not match yours.

You keep saying you are getting on my nerves. I know it's convenient to say that and then bow out of the discussion, but once again, I am not mad or upset, I am utterly sad at the state of education of people with regard to basic science and math when they try to talk about and argue about it.

I mean, that sometimes there are no words in one language to describe the words of another... or perhaps the speaker doesn't know how to properly conjugate his/her verbs, etc., whatever... and so when one speaks one sounds to the native as if "butchering" that one's language.

I understand your language perfectly well. Where it went sideways was when you tried to wedge science into your theology when you didn't understand it and then argued with and misunderstood the corrections and then tried to wedge THAT into your theology.

Since, by your estimate, I apparently don't know enough "French" to, well, even have a conversation (with anyone, apparently, though for some reason you assume it was only with you)

I understand theology quite well. I understand that you get your theology from dreams and voices and it regularly changes and that you disregard the bible when it suits you. Trying to have a thological discussion with you is like trying to nail jello to a wall since whenever you get backed into a corner you have a dream or an update from a voice and your position changes or you just ignore the discussion. No offense, but I've seen you do that more than once. Again, no offense, I think you are amazingly sincere and brave for speaking up the way you do, but...

What magazine is this? Whenever I've seen protrayals of Jesus in the Watchtower publications, he's always had dark hair with olive colored skin (ex. the greatest man on earth' book).

I don't know about that. In the early years of the Watchtower, people's color was believed to be imperfection.

While that is true, that was not an overtly "racist" position for the times. By the time it was commonly accepted what a shitty horrible position that was, the number and date was set, etc., etc. Just remember they were products of their time.
