I'm gonna agree with Sherah and jamiebowers in their above statements.

when i fell for him i was completely unaware of his upbringing as a jw and only became aware once he decided to leave a few months back.
being raised without much of a religious basis, besides the typical western christian exposure, i have researched, read, attended groups, read in this forum, to try to better understand him, and jws, but i am feeling at a loss here.
he just recently left the jws and now i am experiencing this struggle with him; i am wondering how much of our problems can be contributed to this transition.

are forcing the jw's to quit using facebook.
i absolutely understand why you are doing it....but personally, groups that blatently criticize the jw's have caused the ones closest to me to quit using fb.
that was one of my last outlets to associate with them, and then they quit fb altogether.
We had a bethel speaker at a circuit assembly probably over 5 years ago make the statement:
"MySpace is not a place for Christians!"

governing body, watchtower vs ray franz -- irony.
watchtower teaches jehovahs witnesses that its governing body is a contemporary version of the body depicted at acts chapter 15. .
acts chapter 15 depicts a meeting of christians where the subject and deliberations are disclosed.
Interesting..

EndofMysteries - Here's the talk from last weekend in Arizona at the District Convention discussing the latest generation change. I listened to it this morning:

Let me mention that you definitely can't blame this behavior ONLY on the process of leaving this cult. Sure, leaving a cult is very difficult. Lots of emotions come out, and everybody reacts differently. Anger, guilt, depression, sadness, happiness, insomnia - all of these are common.
However, as for myself and many others that I know that have left, we never treated our wives/girlfriends in this way. It's one thing to be stressed/confused/etc, but that's pretty agressive when you say things like that.
Just my opinion. I wish you the best.

reading the post "how long did it take you to leave", i can't help but be envious of those of you who refer to leaving as a "we" event.. i know it has been said that women tend to react to feelings/emotions along with logic, can you help me with ideas that got you to feel something was wrong?
what should i work on planting with my wife?.
thanks..

I am very interested in more replies on this topic. Thanks to those that already posted.

in the book of job, satan ( who is already the enemy of god) is talking to god about allowing him to torment job to prove a point on the real reason job and humans serve him.
they have a one on one conversation.. when you really think about it,why would god talk or even listen to satan if they are true enemies?.
being a witness for over 35 years, the wts made me fear satan and his demons.
According to WT, there are invisible people running around everywhere. I have never seen one. I don't know anybody that has ever seen one. I don't know anybody that can take me somewhere and show me one.

When a man tells a woman to "Shut up" and "F--- you", i'm just not okay with that. That's a huge red flag for me. I realize I don't have all the facts here, but that's a bad vibe for me.

this is an excerpt from the final talk of the day, "remain in the secret place of the most high".
i looked around as this explanation was being offered up, and the looks on the faces of people there was mostly disinterest.
this is a very convoluted explanation that reminds me of someone running a con and trying to cobble together an explanation to deal with legitimate objections to their false claims.. http://www.sendspace.com/file/dodp4w.
I listened to the entire talk this morning while commuting to work. Unbelievable. I have read the April 2010 WT several times and now listened to the talk and I can't see how ANYBODY could ever make sense of this.
