I've been OUT for about one year now. I have to agree with Steven Hassan's words "The only kind of freedom I know is freedom of mind".
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

so i'm stopping at the local pizza shop this morning .
when i see 4 jw's dressed up in their wt uniforms about a block away, just pointing at houses, for about 5 minutes.
so they break up and this one 21 year old kid is standing at this door.
I give a big thumbs up to the Judge RutherFRAUD.

any takers?.
I'm happy to say I have no idea what they do at field service meetings now, because it's been almost a year since I've been in field circus. And it feels GREAT.

there are some fascinating photos (and a video) at the news link below that i had never seen.
take a look, if you'd like to know what niagra falls looks like with no water.
it's taken 41 years, but a previously unseen set of photos of the mighty niagara falls reduced to nothing more than a barren cliff-top have finally surfaced.. the stark images reveal north america's iconic - and most powerful - waterfall to be almost as dry as a desert.. in june 1969, u.s. engineers diverted the flow of the niagara river away from the american side of the falls for several months.. .
I had never heard of this before..
heard this today from a good source.
my guess everybody is delaying leaving the service meeting - and this is an attempt to fix this.. that's what i see in our service groups - no one is in any rush to go out (again).
I used to conduct 3 to 4 field service meetings a week. I did this for years. They were dreadful. I finally ran out of things to say. I was so glad when another male started going out in service during the week so I didn't have to conduct.

before i get to the gem in this week's tms, let me let any of you newbies here up to date with us jdubs and schooling.
in the february 22, 2002 watchtower, the wtbts released the article titled "how my dream was fullfilled".
it was one of many typical jw stories of a good devout jdub "resisting temptation" and accepting the borg as absolute truth.
Evidently, Jehoover has used his holy spirit to enlighten their minds so that even without education, there is no deficiency.

i stumbeled across this site after doing some research about earthquakes and "end times".
i've had a jw comming to my home for quite a while just stopping by, and she finally convinced me to agree to a "bible study".
i was intoxicated at the time i agreed and i figured it would be better to have a set time for her visits rather then her just showing up at random times.
Hi KristiKay,
It looks like you have been given good advice and i don't have anything to add along that line. I would recommend the book "Sign of the Last Days" by Carl Oloff Johnson. It's a great book and it totally deconstructs the idea that things are worse today than they were hundreds or thousands of years ago. This is one of the most enlightening books I have read in a long time.

just wanted to say that as of tonight, i have completed my first semester of college.
it feels great.
i have met a lot of new friends, many of them great people.
You should do it. Even if it's nothing to do with a career change. Just a semester is a great experience. You are thrown into a mix of thousands of strangers, and it's so much fun making friends with new people. And every time you start a new semester, you can do it all again.
I have really enjoyed it.
