i'm getting my education degree this year and am working in a practicum placement in an elementary classroom (5th grade).
it's a very practical way to see first-hand how teachers teach, discipline and help mold their students.
one student is a jw.
Being a born-in with an over-zealous mother, I can still feel the pain of being left out of holiday celebrations. What a kind teacher! One thing that a few teachers did for me (and my mom allowed it) was during these holidays my teachers would give me a little gift or treat and they would specifically say it wasn't for the holiday but for a "job well done" and etc . . That always meant a lot.

everytime i have ever told an active jw about this forum and described it's designation they all, in essence, say the same thing.. they say that we are nitpickers, that we are all just rubbed the wrong way and can't get out of the state of disgruntlement that we have allowed ourselves to enter.
some throw in supernatural elements some just stick to human imperfection and call it murmurings.. these kind of assertions highly imply that our anger is exaggerated or misguided; that we don't have all facts and are drawing highly speculative conclusions.. as participants on this forum how do you refute such a claim?.
my first thought would be to point out that "murmurings" is what created the watchtower to start with.
Everyone born-in has the best reason to be disgruntled! Nothing like being born into a cult. All of those who thought it was difficult sitting through the boring, never-ending meeting as adults try and imagine what it was like for a five-year-old.
i have seen ads for women looking for men that love the lord, that,s ok. you have something in common.
but i have notice that can be a big mistake.. for example, my brother is a widower and have tried dating women in his.

when she was on oprah some years ago, promoting her book escape, i was mesmerized.

Yes! I read the book Escape by Carolyn Jessop and could not put it down. It reminded me so much of the JDubs! (Loser men who thought they were Gods, young marriages, stupid rules.) I recently googled Carolyn in hopes to find an update on how she's doing, but could find nothing. I have so much respect for her for seeing through the religious crap and risking her life to save her children from the cult. I strongly recommend her book!
Btw: I really wish the government would have put all those children in foster homes a few years back during the raid! Those poor kids!

Oh God . . . . . so naive . . . . . I need to slowly step out of this topic. While in school I worked at a martini bar which happened to be 5 minutes from a strip club. Believe me, these girls do a lot more than "just take their clothes off".

Strippers are indeed trash. To many, that's a given. I'm assuming the two of us just hang out in completely different social circles. If women stopped f*cking the losers and having their babies, they wouldn't be in such a desperate situation.

I really like Van Gogh Double Expresso vodka. It's great mixed with Godiva liquor and Baileys. I'm sure that's just what you're looking for. Haha!

Strippers are trash. Please don't suggest that to our Ex-Jdub friend. Many are hookers and crack whores on the side. Stay away from that crowd.

I didn't have time to read the other comments, but I strongly suggest you do not do this. How well do you even know this guy? Why would he be willing to pay for your schooling for sex when in this day and age any guy (almost) can get sex for free. There are a lot of desperate women (many who are also attractive like you) out there so lonely that they would have this type of relationship without the perks. So my question is . . . Why would he be willing to put out money for you? Also he may start off wanting normal sex, and start asking for more and more kinky things that you may not want to do. (Just saying, this is a strong possibility.) What if he gets mad at you and wants the money back? What if his wife snaps and comes after you or your family? This relationship would most likely hinder any possible relationship with a decent guy, maybe someone you meet in school. What if you met a decent guy and wanted to begin a relationship with him? Would sugar daddy freak out, go after him or you? Would he again demand his money back? Try to destroy your reputation? Please think really hard about this. This sounds like (in a sense) a "deal" too good to be true. No matter what, one of you will get screwed over in the end.
